Deuceson looks ok, i dunno man them dogs are struggling a little bit

 

I'll have to agree with you on that one...I notice a couple of them are showing signs of being on too big of chains.

They are not even on chains. Only Bo at the moment. We use kennels right now. They are looking great now. We have switched dog foods and they are putting their weight back on now. The vet says they look like they are in great shape very healthy animals.

 

I was wondering the same thing. Sorry but Loco is soooooo happy where he is at.

 

They just look like they are a little bit too slim and a couple of them have swayed backs. Other than that they look alright. If you were showing them all the time then I would understand but I prefer keeping my dogs "bigger" when they are just on the chain, especially in the winter.

 

I was thinking the same thing,,,he looks just like one I use to have,,makes my heart melt. I really don't see any that look to thin,,,some look young,,are they young? that would explain the way some stand.

 

What are you talking about, do you even know? The condition looks indicative of low-quality kibble. A few of them have flat out "pot bellies", none of them have tucked stomachs. This would probably be caused by feeding large ammounts of food (lots of corn) and very little nutrients actually "sticking" to the dogs. Those dogs are definetly not being starved, it looks like they are being fed quite a bit. The fact that their ribs show a bit, in conjunction with the stomach,and dull coats, should tell you its not HOW MUCH they are eating, but WHAT they are eating. I'd be curious to see what the dogs look like on a better food. Mrsmickey said they upgraded foods, I will bet money the body looks totally diffrent on all of those dogs.

MrsMickey, trust me, I'm not insulting you at all by saying those pics look they were on low-quality, probably corn-based kibble. You admitted you switched kibbles, and they were putting their weight back on.

I agree! They are in about the same condition of MY two (not APBT btw), and I would also suggest that the condition is from lower-quality kibble.

Let's not judge! They could look better, but they're healthy nonetheless.

Are you crazy man. Just look at your website and look at what you are breeding. MrsMickey351 has great bred dogs that are not under weight at all. I guess it is to bad that they are not CKC registered and being bred just to make a buck. It gets on my nerves when people who try to do good by their dogs and actually share pics of their dogs get talked about from someone who obviously is a back yard breeder and knows nothing about bulldogs except how to breed them. I talk to her husband about everyday on another forum. They spend alot of money on their dogs and do not breed mutts just to breed them like some people. They take pride in their dogs and are actually feeding Chicken Soup which is a quality kibble.

Well, I really dont know what to say. Everybody that meets my dogs in person tells me they look great, we personally didnt think so. We called it an upgrade to Chicken Soup fo the Dog Lovers Soul but that food is junk I guess. Our dogs always looked good til we took them off the Black Gold. They were doing good on Black Gold but too many terds and clean up was a stinky ordeal. They are all young dogs that aint even no where near of age for anything. And we are really glad that none of our dogs have confirmations looks or look good enough for conformation, cause we dont do that, these are Bulldogs not show dogs just so happens that some are pretty but that is not our attraction to them. Thanks for all the comments, and thanks for taking the time to even look at our dogs. To all that dont like them thanks yall too cause it seems that yall thought we were having show dogs and WE DONT.

I personally think that considering the fact that they are NOT on chains, and their diet has been changed, all in all they look pretty good. (Everybody knows those chains are pretty good daily exercise) Anyways, I have a feeling that mrsmickey351 did't post them to get criticized and ridiculed. I think it is also safe to bet, that they all look better than A LOT of people's dogs do. Lets face it, at least they are not breeding 100lb blue hippos.
