    what dose the # under the dog mean on pedigree ex:#v1_199 plus why do some dogs have and some not. also where do i find out what all abrvations are and what they mean.

    The numbers you are talking about sound like a registration number with a registry. On peds online some folks will post the # and some don't, then again, some folks register there dogs and some don't...

    Now as far as abbreviations, what abbreviations are you talking about? If its what most of us are thinking then here it is: "CH."= champion; "GR. CH."= grand champion; "POR"= producer of record; "ROM"= register of merit; "1XW"= 1 time winner,.....etc.
