ANGUS ducked Jeep?

I was reading an old story on another dog and i asked if there were any stories on GR CH ANGUS and i got--

Is this true, what are ur thoughts on this?

 

I read Angus's story and both of those 2 occasions that Jeep was ducked by Angus's owners were just unfortunate situations. Angus is known as Champions of Champions

 

Does it really matter? Angus probably didn't even know.

 

I HAVE ASKED SUPER GNATABOUT THIS RUMOR OF ANGUS AND HE SAID HE NEVER DUCKED NOBODY AND ALOT OF TIMES HE WAS THE ONE BEING DUCKED. HE (SUPER GNAT) WAS KNOWN FOR BEING A REPUTABLE DOGMAN GOING INTO REPUTABLE COMPETITION WHEN HOG HUNTING. CLAIMES TO HAVE BEEN WILLING TO TRAVEL WHEREEVER AND WHENEVER GOING INTO WHO EVER.

MY PERSONAL OPINION..
WHETHER HE DUCKED THEM OR NOT I SERIOUSLY DOUBT ANYONE WOULD DENY HIM OF HIS PRODUCING CAPABILITIES AS WELL AS HIS WIN FACTOR.

I am not so sure about that one.. I have had long talks to a great old dog man and he seen Jeep work. His words were Jeep was not a very good dog BUT he beat good dogs.. Take that how you want. I have some jeep and like it so it dont matter any way. I like both lines But I guess Id pick angus If given the chance to own one or the other. YIS J

 

I'm sorry, I was referring to the question of whether he ducked Jeep or not. My point being was that it didn't matter because these types of rumors always surface after the mentioned dogs have passed. I was away from the game for about 7 yrs and when I returned you have no idea all the crazy shit I started hearing, some of which I knew for a fact wasn't true. It doesn't matter because they were both good dogs. There could have been an age difference between them not making it convenient for one of them. It could have been so many things that it shouldn't matter. What matters is what they really did, not what they didn't do. It' s a topic that goes nowhere. I hope I just put it to rest.

sounds like that man gave you the right anwser,i also seen jeep work and it is true that he wasnt no great dog but he did beat some good dogs.

 

Yea I thought so Tex , The man who told me that does not lie and has been around dogs longer than any one I know and he will call it like it is. But regardless Jeep has put out some good ones So I just take it with a grain of salt.. YIS J
