    Well there was a 7yr old who went in the pit and won, it all depends on ur dog and how u feel. Is he free of all dieseases? Does he have a strong heathly heart? Does he have the drive and energy? Things like that are more important then age

    I would not do it myself, That is fairly old it is so hard bringing them back at an older age. I dont like to put a keep on a dog older than 6 myself.. Yis J

    I have seen it tried, most of the times it doesn't work out. A 9 year old may look good and act good. Just takes more out of him. If you decide to go ahead be sure and pick the hunt wisely.
