ALSO, a responsible owner should be AWARE of their dogs level and not put the dog in a bad situation.

People (that is the 99.9% of the rest of this world) don't know the difference between a pet bull, game dog or show Staffie. I know the difference and only 0.1% of the population knows the difference (that's us) So, NO, I do not lump them all together but the rest of the world does.

Anyone can tell that this thread has nothing to do w/ the thread on Ch. Luther. You didn't quite comprehend what I was saying.

I was relating the moaning in this thread to the Luther thread because how do you think it looks to an outsider (99.99999% of the rest of the world)?We make posts about Ch. Luther breaking bones, ripping off ears etc... and then have the audacity to be mad because someone was asked to leave the park?

We look stupid or are we that shallow that we can't show empathy for the rest of the world?

Some of the stuff on here just feeds their fires to be against a breed I truely love, treasure and adore!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm trying to preserve my grandchildrens right to own this breed (if they choose) I'm not trying feed anti-BSL and my ego all in one!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I mean, according to you, what shall we talk about?
there is a professional and legal way to discuss the history of gamedogs..

especially ones that competed where this sport is legal.

 

Look pal, I'm trying to preserve your grandchildren's rights so they can own this breed if they want to.....

For anyone to be graced with owning this breed, the HISTORY has to come along with it......to really know this breed......if you can't deal with that...than I'm sorry.....

 

I love the history! But there is a time and a place for it to be discussed. On a open public forum is not the place! If folks keep giving BSL the ammo they love then my grandchildren will not be able to own this breed in the USA, Don't believe me? Ask certain folks in areas of this Country who can not leggaly own this breed! Ask folks in Great Britian and Gernmany!

I'm trying to get you folks to watch what you put up on this forum! I don't walk my dogs in the park, only discuss matches (past, present and future) with very close friends and it's done person to person, not on the internet ,phone or mail.

You are not fighting BSL by coming here "trying" to get "us" folk to watch ourselves.......this board is one of the most educational apbt forums that there is.

As far as what I do, I sign every petition that I can; i write letters to every single politician that I can; I back up all my letters with positive articles about the breed; I make tons of phone calls to politicians, judges, DAs; every negative article that I get, I do something about it. I educate as many people as I can about the breed

BSL is a daily part of my life. I don't just jump on a forum and call it a day. So, kiss your dog, ok? And no need to thank me. It's part of my job. Does that answer your question?

 

EXACTLY!!! And you are trying to get people to watch WHAT??? And you just put up for the world to see that you discuss FUTURE AND PRESENT matches over the phone. Interesting to say the least. What is this thread about again???

 

Ther is wonderful educational info on here. Some of you folks are great! I've learned alot. But damn... keep the match stuff off here and between gentlemen.

If ya don't than don't cry in the future when ya get asked to leave the park or worse to "turn over your dogs."

What purpose do the match stories serve? Education or entertainment and ego boosting?
