Friends and dogs?

I've never shown with UKC, but I am wondering how you champion a dog out in two shows.

 

you need 5 majors

 

Everybody is dog ignorant and ignorant with other things as well.even myself was dog ignorant and ignorant on a lot of other things till i learned,now there ain't no harm in that what you have to consider is do they smarten up when they are presented with good knowledge.sounds to me like you have tried to teach this young man about these dogs but he just doesn't want to learn so that doesn't make him ignorant that makes him stupid and hard headed.now i can't say either way as to what to do with your friendship because thats up to you,so i will tell you like i told my own children,i am sure you have a good head on your shoulders so use it,follow what that little voice tells you to do and you will be allright.

 

Ive had similar things happen twice to me.

Years ago I became friends with people that breed and own white Dobermans. They are a bastard children of the Doberman breed. I've been involved or whatever you want to call it with these people for about 5 years now and even though now I don't necessarily think white Dobermans should be bred by every Tom, Dick and Harry out there I just can't turn my back on these people I've called friends.

Ok on a more serious note a few years back I had a big blow up with a long time family friend. I've known her for 27 years (yea since BIRTH literally). But her breeding ethnics, I just couldn't handle. I didn't speak to her for almost 2 years and I was MISERABLE the whole time. Needless to say we are friends again and I just try to influence her decisions without being a b#### about it. If she is thinking about doing a breeding that I think is not a good idea I just say something like, 'Wow that would be ok I guess but what if you bred to".....such and such and such.

If this person has been your true blue FRIEND for years you will not be able to just drop them because of something like this.

Maybe you will rub off on them if they stick around? They will see all the good YOU are doing and want to follow suit.

I HAVE TOLD YOU MANY TIMES ON THE PHONE YOUR TURNING INTO A BYB!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!so go back to peddling your bs somewhere else CUZ BYB ARNT WELCOME HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!got anything else to say you know where i live and have my #.oh and btw hes a GRAND CHAMPION now and probably has more titles then your eyes have ever seen as his daught!!! so your feeling froggy on here let the dogs do the talking!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not really.... just someone who is trying to stir trouble. I mean five posts and already 3 neg reps. I don't need to mention what's wrong with this person's user name. I say ignore the troublemaker until he/she can come back with a more decent name, and he/she should earn some respect before knocking someone else as their first post.

 

sometimes the best way to let someone see he/she is wrong is to let them have their way, and therefore have their own consequences to pay.

however, now we are all off track so let's climb back on, so i can keep this thread open, ok?

Its unfortunate that I missed out on an opportunity to see your dogs a few weekends ago. Hopefully next time.

 

aww trust me iam not sweating it.yea next time or come on down. Suki, colbydogs and a few others can tell ya what great bulldogs they are!!! or in the spring come down to NJ for the ADBA shows.

 

while i do not agree wiht the breeding for the money thing i think that sick i went to the pound today and saw 38 pits who need homesi t was sad to say the least as an owner of a bluff and i mean that to the full exctent of the word.... i have owned 1 game dog great dog loved him and after he passed on i got a bluff and hes the best dog iv evered owned lol except for a few proplems alot of the times when i read statements made by people they make it sound like the biggder bullys are sh*T and as fare a ture blue game is concernted they are but my big boy and every other bluff iv came by show the same trasits as game dogs as far as loyalty devotion friendship careing ect ect...... as fares as ownershhipe goes it seems like bluff dogs get the most ingoratnt owners who see cash sighns and i wont lie i get offers all the time about breeding and it has crossed my mined im only human lol i know this is very very off topic but i felt like it needed to be said bc i alot of bashing goes on.... and for the most part its well deseverd
