What are these?

    Anyone know what these are? I have tons of them and they are all over inside the doghouses. I bed with a layer of regular cedar and red cedar mixed on the bottom and straw on the top.

    BTW, they are about an inch long. And they bite. HARD.

    Its some type of caterpillar, where do you live? I might be able to find out exactly what it is and how to get rid of it.

    Kind of pretty for a bug.

    Those are woolley bears. They are caterpillars. Harmless.

    That is one fluffy catipillar... Looks like a fancy web worm, lol.

    It's a Whitemarked Tussock moth Caterpiller! they sure are pretty! Not dangerous

    I thought Wolly Bears were brown on either end and black in the middle?

    That's cool I'm not an expert I just typed in caterpillar in a google image search and looked for the little bugger that looked like the pic. you posted not hard really. Thank you for the complement!

    I haven't seen them on the dogs but when I gently let them crawl on my hand the second I move my hand they latch on! Those damn things hurt.

    Does anyone know if the tent caterpillars are bad for dogs? Unfortunately I have a lot of those too. They are poisonous to my horses.
     
  19. atleast I know where to go to get bait for fishing Try using them for that and tell me how they work LOL.
