Vet is in order. Until you can get the dog there, fast it for 24 hours, after which time feed it a very bland diet so as to not upset the stomach. Limit water to small ammounts at a time, and make sure the dog isnt eating grass.

I use a small amount of cooked, plain rice. It seems to work well. I would definatley take her to the vet as soon as I could. Does she have any loose stool?

If you can get green coconuts, give her the water little at the time mixed with a bit of honey.

Green coconut water is simular to the body fluid and honey will her energy and it is antiseptic. But you are right, take her to the vet.

Did you recently change his dog food, I remember when I changed dog food, my Achilles didnt take it to well and started vomition a lil bit, but then it went away and he was back to being his healthy self. Even if your dog was eating grass, its harmless, dogs usually eat grass when something is missing from their daily diet.

Sounds like your pup might have had a large amount of water then it could hold. My dog has done this a couple times before. And it could be if the dog ate some grass and cant digest it. If it was a grown dog i would say sleep on it and make an appointment at the vet in the morning if it keeps going. But since it is a pup go ahead and take it to the vet but just know you will be paying a nice bill for the treatment.

Yes, vet. Good idea. Do the fasting thing w/bland diet (boiled chicken and rice) or better yet, no food if your appt. is in the morning. Small ammounts of water as suggested earlier and PLEASE watch the pup's stools and urine for blood or anything else unusual (walk on a leash to be sure you don't miss anything). Also keep a good watch on any other info that may help the vet, such as last things eaten, activity level decrease, shivering, anything helps. Good luck and let us know how things go.

If the pup has dihareha (sp?) at all go to the vet NOW. I made that mistake three days ago. Just thought the pup got into something that didnt agree with his tummy since he was almost 6 months old and had his shots. He died yesterday on the emergency vet table. He had Parvo. If I had taken him in the night before when he had first started the dihareha He may have made it. Don't wait untill it is too late.

Your Pup Could Have Just A Gi Upset. Depending On Other Symptoms, It Could Be As Bad As A Blockage (those Are Not Fun, I Had To Spend $900.00 -after Employee Discount!- To Get A Collar/bailing Twine Cut Out Of One Of Mine)

Does Your Pup Seem Interested In Food? Does It Have Loose Stools? Has It Been Drinking? Is There Rat Poison In/around Your Home? Have You Switched Foods? Etc Etc Etc

More Details Can Help Point You In A 'clearer' Direction, But Your Vet Is The Best Bet.

Most Likely You Will Come Home W/some Metronidazole And Some Canned I/d
