some people just needs to learn to keep there dog on a leash at all times unless in a fenced yard or dog park. Dont matter if its a lab or pit they are a danger to others and themselves in our situations.

I'd just use my common sense.....

If the loose dog has an owner that is in sight. I'd let them fight till the owner comes, then I'll Get ahold of my dog and use my breaking stick and tell the owner to pull his dog off as soon as I release there grips.

However, If the owner is no where to be seen, I'd let my dog fight and do what he was bred to do, and help him by grabbing the other dog by its back legs to knock it on the floor. and may kick it, using common sense... And then use my breaking stick when I see the other dog is trying to get away. So it can run off and not scratch back at us. I am not superman to hold one dog on one hand, and then the other dog on another hand. Especially if the other dog has no collar.

I dont see how some of you can care about dogs to much to take the time to do some of the things you will do? Seriously, its like your walking your 2 year old in a carriage. And a random dog comes up and tries to attack your baby. So your going to lift your baby in the air so the stray dog wont reach. Then Your going to allow the dog to bite your ankles while you walk home? Or are you going to get a muzzle over it and collar/leash? So that you can get bit by the dog, and get a scar or possibly rabies? Seriously? bringing a muzzle and collar/leash when ever you go outside, just in case you run into a stray dog? even if you do not even own dogs? Thats foolish IMO.

But anywho, I am doing nothing wrong. There is a leash law and self defense law... I am not doing nothing wrong to allow my dog to fight back(while its on its lead) to defend itself. And yes I will help, and defend my dog. Much like a father will defend his 10 year old son if a offleash rot wheeler is biting his son. He aint going to have a leash and muzzle and collar on his pocket, as they walk at night around the lake. Then get bit trying to muzzle the dog and tie it somewhere.

If a big dog attacked I would give it a kicking (no doubt my dog gets his licks in at the same time) and if that didnt work then fido has a new chew toy.

If its just a small dog trying to attack then just a kicking for him, I would try keep my dog off him as best I could, I wouldnt pick my dog up though, not for nobody or nothing

Like KBK said '' I don't play when it comes down to big dogs'' like a mastiff or a huge breed of dog like that this is type of situation I won't pick my dog up in and let him get his licks and kicks in I won't bowdown to some big dog I'll kill a mastiff before he tries to injure me but that's just me oppinon though

it would depend on the situation, if i felt i was in no way to be harmed i would pick my dog up and try to shoo the other away, i dont want my dog or any other dog to have to get hurt or go to a vat if it can be avoided. after all its no the dogs fault it has a douchbag for an owner.
however i have had two gsds come at me very hard and fast and it happened that quick , i nearly needed new underwear. my little bitch hit the first one straight in the chest and shook, and it bailed without a second thought, as she let go to grab the other one, when she grabbed the second one by the stifle the dog swiftly changed its energy into screaming its head off, which was not a pretty sound at all.
i pulled out my stick and as i was going for it i just had this feeling that it wasnt the best idea in the world like what if it goes me when once ive grabbed my dog by the scruff to release, there was more than enough room for this dog to grab me if it wanted to. i did feel pretty bad because the noise was nearly unbearable, but the dogs owner turned up and we got them apart.
the dogs owner was absolutley shattered because he had owned gsd's all his life and had trained his dogs properly and couldnt beleive they would do this out of their own territory.
that and the fact that what he thought was a little staffy knocked his big mean dogs out of the park without a fuss.
poor guy was realy sorry for it and it hurt his pride as a trainer i think.
said he had never had a incident in thirty years, i took my dog home and helped him find the first dog which was still crapping itself running around with its tail beneath its legs all stooped down, i did feel sorry for it.

and then you have my little bulldog jumping around all goofy n shit like she was so proud of herself.

I agree to some extent on what you are saying, but common, if your son was scraping with another kid, you would help your son, by beating up the other kid lol.....................

Well I dont have any kids, but hypothetically speaking: No. I can control kids and hold them back. And verbally tell my kid to stop it, and then hold the other kid back, and if he tries swinging at me. I will just gently bring him to the floor so that hes laying on his stomach and I get control over him. And call 9-11 and saying that some kid wont calm down and is trying to fight with my kid. Not much damage a 10 year old can do to me. But a dog has strong biting power with teeth and possibly rabies which can also give me a scar and such. Although if if the kids are like 16 , 17. I'd just let em fight and work it out them selves. But if I see one of the kids do not want to fight. Then I will brake it up by holding the other kid back and letting the other kid run home. And if the kid assaults me for trying to brake up a fight. I would roughly send him to the floor and call 9-11.

The thing is. With cops now a days. I dont trust one of them trying to shoot my dog since its a pitbull. So I wouldnt call the cops when it comes to the dogs.
