I look in peds and i see some 1xGL. Do you think its right to breed a dog like that. I think some people would say it shouldnt be bred but the some people would say well it was game whats your thoughts on this.

In my opinion it all depends on how the dog acted. Just because he lost one game doesn't mean he's not worthy of breeding. BUT there are a lot of other things that come into play as well. Its just a matter of opinion.

Theres no shame in losing game because of a lack of ability. Its been said countless times before and I'll say it again.....rather have a game loser than a winning cur!

Hell, It Coulda Been A 1 1/2 2 Hour Deal, Or It Coulda Been The Owners Fault.(conditioning) You Never Know, Unless You've Seen The Dog Or Know A Non-caring Third-party. Jmo

Depending on the circumstances, I would. It lost game, not curred.

Back in the day when it was legal, the true dogmen truly cared for their dogs. A dog with a game loss usually was picked up by it's owner because the owner cared for the dog. A dog with a game loss was one which despite being on the bottom kept going (& going & going) despite the fact that it was headed to an obvious defeat. There's no shame in a dog that refused to give up despite the fact that it was losing the battle. That dog showed more courage in it's losing fight than many showed in their winning ones.

Mia said it well. Even Muhammad "The Greatest" Ali ran across a few who were better.;)

a game loser shows that the dog can win. but if it was a cur. may it rest in peace

you should breed for gameness only, winners will come. My question to all is, would you breed to a game loser with no ability?

I suppose for me it depends on the dog's ability to learn;)

Game is in the sentence, cur is not. I would bred to him.
