Gr Ch Badger was overlooked my first time. One hell of a game tough bulldog with talent and mouth.

  4. Think if you not know how the dog works you do not really know if you like him or not. Most of us havent seen this dogs go. Only my opinion. I remember for example that MN once sayd double Gr. Ch. Tornado showed bad signs in a fight. However if we talk about the credit and look of a dog I would say I would have with pleasure got to know dogs like for example Andersons Ch. Sugar or Smith&Waltons CH. Campesino . After all I read ,heared and saw (on pics) is also Rebels Ch Sandman one of my Favorites .And, however, for example, Williams Filo was no champion , nevertheless, a first-class Bulldog. However, some dogs dont made it to Ch. although they owned with certainty more gameness than many Ch. For example, Williams Hector. :)

I'm gonna stick with my guns. I have been running inbred/linebred CH. BRISTOL'S THOR dogs for 19 years. Only 17 reported breedings, producing 9 CH's,6 2xw's and 11 1xw's,known to me from my history of the line. Great %'s. Great wrestling skills, hard crunch, smart smart dogs.

Not as popular as most, but I'll go # for # with any line.

For female I would go with GR CH BASS(EDWARDS) MOLLY BEE. Produced 4 CH's,3 2xw's and 2 1xw's in 3 breedings. 2 of the CH's were off one litter out of Snooty.CRUNCH,CRUNCH,CRUNCH

    I would have to say:
Garner's CH Chinaman .... why not, one devastating dog
Southern Kennels GR CH Mayday .... I just love this dog, great producer
STP's GR CH Buck .... Well, I'm getting a pup off this line through Machobuck
Chavis' CH Jocko .... Awsome dog, was killed before his time
Crenshaw's CH Honeybunch .... One of the best producing females of all times

Well, theres a bunch more, but it would take to long to name'em all. Jeep, Nigerino, Yellow, ect. The list just goes on! LOL

Lol...when you picked your list I think you picked my brain because that is the list I would go with as well (just through Redboy in there and you got the perfect bunch). I had a hard time as well...just picking one dog as I to have many favorites but I'm still going with Buck as my #1.

I have never met or seen boxers Arturo Gatti and Ricardo Mayorga fight in person but I have watched them fight on tv and on videos I have bought on the net. My point is while I have never seen them live or know them in person...I do know them through stuff I have read, pictures I have seen and fights I have watched on tv or video/dvd and although I do not know them...I know their two of my favorites and I know I am a fan, same goes for the dogs...I know what I like.

On other threads I have posted what a fan of Skull I was, not a Gr.Ch. or Ch. but there was just something about that dog I liked. Hey if you have any stories about him how about shooting me a PM ?

  11. Yes if you have seen them go...on tape or what ever (like you pointet above). But most have not even smelt a fart of these :) dogs.Only the pictures are not enough to build a real picture. But this is only my opinion,I find the thread, nevertheless, well .:)

My reply to your post was not a attack against you, I was just trying to show that sometimes people do not have the opertunity to meet a special boxer or star or dog but they can still admire them for what they have done in their field and can become a fan and know them through other ways then in person.

That said, I do know where you are coming from in that sometimes people just like to jump on the bandwagon of the next big thing...the 'in-bloodline' or popular dog of the moment. I am by no means a expert on these dogs but I try to learn as much as I can about the ones that spark an interest.

I'm glad you are enjoying this thread and thank you for taking the time to post in it...your knowledge is most welcome.

    WOW!!!!

No one even mentioned Pincher -24 X'er
are we only talking in the last 40 years or something??

Pincher was/is the greatest of ALL time.....

  16. I am basing this on the stories passed down, and the available historical information, but I love the mystique behind crenshaw's ch honeybunch rom (produced great dogs such as jeep and many other ch.'s), and garner's ch. chinaman rom, and colby's pincher (a devastator reported to be matched 24 times, and in louis colby's book of the American pitbull terrier he was quoted as saying that his dad j.p. saying that pincher was the greatest dog he'd seen...that says alot.)

The list of great dogs is long, but if I had to start explaining about gamedogs to someone that had no clue...I'd start with these three!
