Yes, I know other breeding have had widows peak in them.
According to UC Davis it is a genetic marker in the DNA strand for dogs who hound in them.
In the case of Jake's breeding, unlike others, if there was hound bred into the line as he admitted to me and many others, it didn't compliment the pups performance ability.
Dick Stratton had on his website, for awhile, comments about Jake. When he started, what kind of dogs he bred, etc. Interesting read of truth for the truth seekers.
Good dogs are where you find them.. Proof is in the Performance.....
