    Are you fucking serious? Did you see Khabibs fight ? His stand up is garbage. Mcgregor would sleep that ass, he got exposed. If El Cucuy showed up I believe he would have taken Khabib

    Who got exposed? Khabib manhandles ppl for 3-5 rounds. He doesn’t like to finish fights. He tries to beat ppl into submission. If they don’t quit, another round of punishment. It ain’t pretty to watch, but neither is a bear mauling a human

    Conor has good timing, not crazy power. If Conor couldn’t finish Nate he damn sure ain’t finishin Khabib

    I happen to agree that his stand up did not look the best but it does not have to. It’s not boxing or Thai boxing it’s mma. I am a stand up fighter first and foremost as my Thai boxing is superior to my Jiu-Jitsu and non existing wrestling, but superior wrestling and ground control is hard to beat. Word around is khabib is the top at this!

    Connor knocks out mma guys cause most times they got they chin high in the air. Don't need to hit that hard to get a knockdown/knockout with a target like that.
    Also hes a cur. If you honest with yourself and know boxing you'd know Floyd played with Connor and when he decided enough fun yall got yall money's worth they had to stop the fight to save Connor career. 3-4 rounds of a mild offensive output by Floyd stopped the fight.
    Please don't anybody ever compare his hand skills to any good boxer.
    Hes actually lucky he fought Floyd who was willing to put on a show. Triple gangsta might a killed him cause him cause he ain't no showman he a killer.

    Khabibs stand up could easily be improved, he is pretty stiff imho and he doesn't even begin to work angles but i don't remember him every being known for his stand up.

    I know you’ve seen the vid of him wrestling the bear cub when he was 9-12ish. That’s how he fights imo. Like a human bear. I don’t think he cares too much about his stand up to improve it to elite level. His grappling is very high level, I think he’s just ok stand up striking

    True. He is a cur. I thought he quit against Diaz in the first fight. At that level at least fight back and then tap. When he hit the floor he had no intentions of continuing.

    Even more true. Floyd played with him, cashed his checks and made the crowd feel like they got their monies worth.

    Conor's hands are above average for a MMA guy, compared to other MMA guys. But he got into the ring with arguably the best boxer who ever lived. At the tale end of his career but still light years ahead of MacGregor. I thought it was a joke from the get go, thought it was a joke that night and still think the same today.

    One thing about Kabib is that even though he does not have great hands or great standup, he can take a shot. He has been hit flush a number of times.

    In past years the styles have been prevalent. The BJJ guys won once it hit the ground. The strikers won if it stayed on their feet and traded. The wrestlers just had to outlast the next guy, or control til he could swing, i.e. ground and pound. Now every body is good at everything. Few fighters truly stink in either category even if they specialize in one.

    I think MMA has evolved into the winner is often the best weight cutter. I think St. Pierre was the best for a while, maybe then Johnny Hendricks. I read where Pierre weighed in at 170 on Friday and fought at 186-188 the next night. That is sick. Especially if the other guy hydrates to 175 or so. Talk about getting big dogged.

    I'm not a big McGregor fan. He may be the best hype guy since Stone Cold Steve Austin.

    Khabib had his chin high in the air against Raging Al, thats my point. Conor would sleep him.

    And no shit, hes not a boxer. Hes an MMA fighter. Even legends like Tyson and Leonard gave him respect and thought he did well considering going against one of the considered GOAT boxers with his short preparation

    Put any of your boxer boys in the MMA cage and lets see how many seconds they last

    Khabib wont last with the title. If that khabib that fought against Al fought against El Cucuy or like I said even Conor, he would have gotten finished.
