Cool vid. Cool music. The tug of war... while owners are holding the dogs on leashes... is accident waiting to happen IMO.

Also not to sure how others feel. However, i could care less for all the baiting in the pulling competitions.

 

The TOW isn't officially as an event there, so we can't say nothing, it's not our business in fact... but sure - i agree. I use only chains during Tug Of War, and there had been never any accident.

And baiting - it's allowed in Europe so most people does that.

 

I agree with both statements. Tug of war on a chain with a long rope so the dogs can't get to eachother would be a good idea. And there is way too much baiting. The dogs aren't using proper form while pulling leading to inefficiency and injuries. But otherwise looks like a great show.

 

Bait is allowed here too, but you never see the "great" pullers ever have to use them. And the dogs sling shooting is bad on the dogs. I personally will foul my dog if he does that.... better to do it right and safe for the dog then to do it.....

 

Guys, you should be looking at the cup half full not half empty.

I am happy to see other peoples doing the same thing we are doing here. Showing our dogs in the best positive light. If your dogs "form" is wrong, who cares! The important thing is that man and dog have fun together and that same is documented for (literally) the world to see and follow as example. Who knows, maybe your video and actions will motivate peoples from other countries to follow suit.

Here it's just different look on baiting. 99% of handlers here do that... I'm not a big fan of that if i'll be honest. My dog pulls not for getting a toy, but i use that - when i hold it on the ground he looks down and his technique is way better... But i can use even hand to do that. If i don't do that he looks on my - into my eyes and his technique is worse, hehe. I'm used to bad opinions about baiting, but doing that is something completely normal for European Pit Bull Shows...
