won't come in heat

I have one female that won't come in season when she is lean at ALL! Chain fat or no cycle for her. That is still only once annually for her. Honey is part of me and my dogs daily regiment. I get a table spoon, they get a half a teaspoon each daily. I thought that was a trick/secret a few people use, but apparently its public knowledge lol. You have been given ALOT of good knowledge and suggestions here. All else fails, try fattening her up. Keep in mind gymnasts and other female athletes often do not have a menstrual cycle due to low body fat. I hope you get her going.

 

I have read somewhere about giving a bitch a shot of pregnant mare serum to come into heat.

 

I had a wellbred jeep/redboy bitch that came in hear 1 time.at 7 she had never come n heat again.vet cked fine. Made a fine house dog.

 

Honey works , I never have used it but some folks sware by it I have a good friend that has taken honey since he was a kid and would you believe he is alergic to fire ants.I'm talkin a trip to the emergency room ober one bite .He comes over and if we outside he always shuffles his feet , folks that don't know him like I do think he is real nervous ,it will make folks nervous watchin him lol.I always kill off the ants in my yard but he still shuffles his feet , can't get em all.I do have some pretty good poison though.

I have a bitch that was a little over 2 years old that hadn't ever came into heat. I took her to the vets for blood work and some advise a's to why possibly. He said because I keep her extremely fit and lean that it will prevent her from coming into heat. I started adding a extra cup of food in her dish everyday and I put her belly mate sister on the next spot over from her who's had 3 heats already and was in heat at the time. Sissy went into heat in less that a week.

 

Its not really about adding more weight to the dog per say but having adequate nutritional content as the dog could be lacking in certain vitamins/minerals that there body needs.

There are some dogs that are extremely fit in a KEEP that still come into heat.

 

Put money on her, she'll come in within 6 weeks lol.

 

sometimes all it takes is a change , try kenneling her at a friends

thx to guitar slim i learned how to help with such an occurrence , and the honey 411 was good too. i have used a propolis toothpaste by toms = non flouride, but i can only find it at whole foods . maybe i will order it online i had to get folks to tell me what it was cause most never heard of it .
pleasae tell us if she comes into heat, and tell the blood up close on the stud, and her please. thx. GS
