Wolves are getting bad up North.I had a conversation with a friend that lives in the U.P. of Michigan .He was at his deer camp a couple nights ago and he said the wolves killed a deer not more than 50 yds from his door.Said the sounds was awefull from the scene. He said he no longer can take his dog to camp , just to much of a risk.Use to take him up in the summer and let him run.

I don't think the story jives with the pic LOL. Never had to deal with wolves but , yotes are around where I have animals. I had an old carver bred bitch that stoned atleast a dozen at my place in the early 90s. One night she was out and I heard some ruckus in the woods .I took the spotlight and 4wheeler to the edge of the woods to see 5 on 1...was mostly all bark and no bite. She had one down and out ...and another in her mouth. They had her corralled and were raising hell. I don't know what the out come would have been if I hadn't showed up.The next day she drug the one on the porch and was trying get him to scratch into her LOL. Anyways reading this thread brought back a lot of memories of a once in a lifetime animal so I thought I would share a story. She was a good one.
