will only chase alive prey?

can someone give me a tips here,
my dog only wants to chase alive prey.... whenever i give him the flirt pole, spring pole or just a towell wigling around, he wont chase it/ he chase it but not with 100% intention like if he chases live prey.

but weirdly, he give 100% if the bait is not alive or not even smells, but it has to be a doll that looks like an animal.....

See if you have deer hunters in your area ask them for fresh hide my dog brought a whole deer pelt home time

 

Get some beef hide. therealjudge is a member with some for sale. Pm him

You should have got the whole pelt .But try the tail and see does he like it

 

turns out i didnt get a tail but even smaller... just about 30cm x 30cm of thigh skin... but.... thanksss a lot guys! it workss so good! just like if it is a live prey! he gave 100% focus to it! thanks a lot!

hey guys, i hve another question... how to make the cowhide reusable for next time? after 3 days my cowhide turned to a very hard cowhide.... i was thinking about tanning it.. but if i tan it, will i lose the cow smell that drive my dog crazy?

You could soak it in some water

 

Your dog has a strong killer instinct. You may want to try hanging up an animal hide or just scent a towel with animal scent.

 

Soak that hide in water and a little bit of cooking oil.
