Then ad to the fact that Dolly was off Patricks Lady in Red, which Hollingsworth bought from Patrick. Lady in Red is basically 3 enerations of Patrick bred or owned dogs. I wonder where Dolly got her traits from.?..?....

Come on man, look at why Garner had that dog. It was Garner Patrick bred dog! Hollingsworth's name is in the ped 4 times in 4 generations, and only 1 dog was from 2 Hollingsworth dogs lol!!! Garners name is in the ped 4 times as well, but Patricks name, quite a bit more than 4 x's!

 

A point was made people talk shit about breeders not testing their stock but Hollingsworth got a pass. Anyway the point being he did breed some game dogs coming from Patrick stock based upon the idea of the blood showing true. Most Hollingsworth dogs were game plugs and needed a out in comes the Yellow dogs who phyiscally look almost identical in size and structure and they brought in the ability and such. Now Hollingswoth got a lot of credit but truth be told STP bred Buck to Red x Jocko dogs first also so did Big Tom. Mayday was great and Hollingsworth does deserve credit for making some very good breedings. Jmo Ole Man

 

It was my understanding that Tant asked Hollingsworth to breed to Dolly (Tants idea), but since Ernest owned the bitch he got the credit. Hollingsworth got pups for the breeding.

I was reading peds before you were probably wiping your nose lol. 1 dog is off 2 Hollingsworth dogs through the whole pedigree that makes 3 Hollingsworth dogs. Angel was out of a Garner male bred to a Patrick bitch that Hollingsworth owned lol. On the bottom you have one Hollingsworth dog out of what was a garners paddy x Patricks Red Lady again. Then Chinaman... The only true hollingsworth dog in the ped IMO is pencil, because he was off 2 dogs with Hollingsworth name if front of it. Hollingsworth for the most part bred Patrick's dogs, and it doesnt take a scientist to see if you breed a family of known dogs together you may get decent dogs. That doesnt make the dogs YOUR line.

He got the dogs just with the intent of making money Not for the love of the dogs, He got into dogs with the wrong ideas and he had a few dogs make a name the last time I got a dog from him off bull, I think he had 10 or 12 on his yard all nice and neat ready for sale, The problem with him is he was a paper breeder and the dogs showed it, Out of the few years he had the dogs he did get a few out though. Pups that is and Just couse a guy is old dont meena damn thing the hardest to beat are the older guys. and Old guys still Rock.
