That I can agree with. Without even looking it up I'd be willing to bet whitetail deer are hunted by more people than any other species of animal in North America.

yeah,if you no the area fill the fridge.but them places you just said sounds dangerous,and you would be loony in the head to put your self in such a hotstile enviroment that your unawere of regarding finding your way and such.

Hunting is serious shit.

i use about a 20 mile radios to scoope up stuff for the table.i always opperate on foot.
but i have to admit lol..i constantly get lost,chased,and come back in with the misses looking at me like im gone in the head..if i got the odd bird or bunny its worth it......but she still looks at me as if to say "you been out for five hours and you come back with a mere bird"

Im only about 12 miles from the mountian.you can pay to shoot deer in this place.
i wouldent pay.
but at the same time i would not venture 12 miles to the mountain,then another 12 miles around the mountain looking for a deer,quite illigally i might add..when im unfarmiliare with the surrounding up there..these mountains could quite easy get you lost and put you in a very vunerble position.

i dont live anywere near a place as wild as you pal..but i sure understand how dangerous some remote places can be.

my poacher friend visits these places lol...but he noes the place like the back of his hand.
he can walk round in dark like its day.
we went out in dark and i rippped my trousers clean of me on barbed wire.with my defense beeing i cant see in dark.
my old freind was in hysterics saying he knows were every fence is and he can hurdle them in the dark.
I get lost locally.find it hard to start a fire with out a match.skin and pluck things far from neatly-
and my old freind only has to look at me and i no what hes thinking lol.

He said to me once if ide common sense.ide probs make a good hunter.
but then again if i had common sense ide also be dangerous...were is words lol.

 

Soze bit off advise mate go walking by yourself in the early day and look at every single thing you can. If anyone asks you got lost following a public right of way. After half a dozen times off this you’ll know the place in the dark also.

its true that mate.infact ide need to go to the place perhaps about 30 times before i no it like back of my hand lol(terrible co-ordination lol)

I do try always do that mate.i think its dangerous not to.
its importent that mate.i call it preperation.
it can get boring from time to time,and very tiering...but most of time im never board really.i always find something whats intresting when im out.

If they are chestnuts mate put a small slice through the shell/skin and roast them leave one without a slice and it will explode witch tells your there cooked. Do this outside mate because the missus won’t thank you if bits off chestnut are all over the kitchen lmao. Also don’t eat them raw it’s not good for you.

I have a large ranch with high game fence . LOL I would to see you say that's not fair chase . It's a large ranch and you would have a hard time saying it's not fair . You could get killed very easy on that ranch . If I feed and manage it I'm charging . I around $7000 a year and never stop working and fixing things .

 

Its a lot of work and takes alot of cash OG .Got to have equipment to which aint cheap.

 

I have some friends that pay people to come in and do the work .They said its cheaper because you don't have any maintenance on equipment.

and as Lrs put it,your ranch is probaly the size of the open land round here.so with you paying for everything and with your dedication to the land,i agree in you chargeing a small fee for a great experience.
