Why boiled water?

...best water on earth. before i moved to TN i used to get it in 5 gallon jugs. but its hard to find down here, so i have to stock up on the 2.5 gallon jugs when i go to shows

 

natural spring water is awesome when you can get it straight out of the spring,i have a few spots i go to,fill up the jugs and i stays cold all day.course that could be why this is the moonshine capitol,great spring water for the mix

 

Boiling water will kill bacteria, but it doesn't remove the impurities unless you catch the steam vapor in a seperate container and then let it cool to condense into a seperate pot...like a distillery. Water evaporates and condenses at 212 degrees F...or 100 degrees celcius. To properly catch "purified" water the end of the distilery tube needs to be just under the condensation point...say 200-210 F or 95-98 C...that way the impurities either remain in the pot (non-vaporized) or difted into the air when they come out of at the end of the tube (for the vaporized impurities that boil at temps lower than water).

IMO, not necessary.

theres a spring about 1/4 from my property and thats where all the dogs water comes from
