Then you agree, everybody keeps them all.. Then a few months later a few of the everybody sell and the rest of the everybody actually keeps them.

 

Do you mean they're so good that you don't want anyone to have them, or that they're so destructive you don't want them in the hands of novices, or ....?

 

I think some people say they gone keep em all just to make people want it.Then all the sudden they gone oetnone or two go and folks feel privledged cause they ask them if they was interested in buying one .lol...Not talkin bout you treez, if you think back I showed you one of them a while back lol.

it never fails, had a bigger than expected litter so selling 2.. Had 5 females so I'm selling 3 of them etc..

How about these people selling pups for $800-$900-$1000. Get the F out of here with that BS.
I laugh every time I see some idiot who swears that their breeding is gonna click but won't give you another dog or your money back when that shit don't workout.

If it ain't for sale why bother advertise?? You can tell right off the hop that the seller is up to something.

 

They all don't work out brother, that's part of the game of buying and selling. I can't tell a man his price but I offer many people a guideline in what they should be willing to spend. Some people couldn't give me a dog, some I would give 2k (which I have never done) to get a pup from because I trust that person.

 

I hear ya man.. I've bought several dogs off the same people selling them for 1k plus. Only difference is I got the pups damn near free or paid half the asking price because the seller knew I would do good by the dog. I don't care for paper work or any of the bells a whistles so the breeder has no worry about myself peddling their life's work. I even offer the dogs back once I'm done again because I don't need or what them rotting on the chain.
I understand they all don't work out, this should be something the breeder understands before they put a heavy price tag on any dog or pup.

 

If the people didn't buy then he wouldn't be able to place that price.. Supply & Demand, plus most times folks just trying to peddle someone else's work so I understand they are saying before you get paid off my work I'm going to get paid first. IDK I haven't sold a dog since I was 17 years old, tried to sell a few about 3 years ago for a friend who was going through a divorce and after about 20 phone calls I realized I didn't have patience. I end up buying all 12 dogs from him and gave 9 of them to our mutual friends so he could see their progression the 3 I kept I gave back to him once the dust settled.

I am not a very good saleman when it comes these animals as I choose to let them speak for themselves...some I would be hard pressed to ever sell and some I would let go for a bag of kibble to the right person. Money can talk and I am a believer that "everything" is for sale. i have a litter on the ground that nothing is for sale but, I offered pick F to a friend. So if that is considered "letting one go" than I am guilty .

Back to the OP.....I was under the impression the bitch was of quality and not a pup. I posted solely based on looking at the pedigree. On top of things, I didn't ask why he wouldn't back her up to one of his own. Just figured it was "marketing" to hustle a few pups. I know EP was chomping at the bit to chime in lol!
