there are measurments that make a dog a 'pit bull type'. thankfully most of the UK also have a temperment assesment (not that that excuses the law in the first place though). in N.Ireland they dont have the temperment assessment which is what really spelled the end for lennox.

Don't the rules know every country, but fonz isn't wrong in my country.

I once heard a man's dogs were taken away by RSPCA, killed all dogs without kc papers, rehomed the ones with kc papers.

 

The most stupid story is the one when RSPCA went to anAmerican Bulldog breeder and took a whole litter of pups because they weredeemed as ”pit bull type”. But they left their parents since they obviouslywere not pit bull type…

i know people who have been through this. it is a law from 76 i think. ( i can find out) regarding dangerous or banned dogs it it up to the owner to satisfy the courts.
it is one of the only English laws where you have to prove innocence and not guilt..
