When putting 2 dogs together for better

Discussion in 'Dog Discussion' started by Jacob, Mar 20, 2018.

  1. Personally, I don't think a pup should put on a chain, till its about 6_8 months old.......and your right!it needs to be nice and long!10foot at the least....my be some who's got more experience should chime in here...I suppose sum pups can be introduced to the chain quite earlier... Their is a thread on here somewhere about chain tethering that's quite interesting.......

Of course they wasnt soze, but ive never seen any evidence of Tudor or Crenshaw etc ,coming forward and saying Carver never used their dogs, over his bitches. At the end of the day its all speculation really isnt it.

Of course i know, the man was up to all manner of dodgy dealing etc.I woudnt trust a word he said regarding the breeding of a an individual dog,but i dont remember any of those old dog men whose stud dogs he was supposed to have used denying he even used their dogs. When i get chance im going to listen to the Ed crenshaw interview again ,its been a while since i listened to it,maybe i missed something.

  5. it sure is stedz.fascinating trying to work out how these old Master breeder's put the dogs together. I could talk about it all all day long....no matter what though, caver put together some Major dog's...I think his dog iron head had more of an impact on the breed then people think......

  9. As I've just said my friend. I think his iron head dog had a lot more of an impact on the breed then people think......a lot of dogs still look like him today.I bet he was bred a lot more then they say....maybe someone could chime in here, some one who knows more then us,on the history of the awesome Carver dogs......the story's surrounding this great man are truly fascinating.......

Great post O.G...best one on this thread..I tried to point towards Floyd B who in my mind was prob a master at inbreeding.People don't study much these days.

Boze if I remember was the most inbred Dibo dog at that time.Floyd would have to hold Boze back legs and let Bullyson get a hold before he released Boze and Boze still trashed Bullyson.
