Yea I been stalked a couple times.If you have never been stalked by a predator in the wild , its the ultimate game.Most folks wouldnt even know they was being stalked.Could have killed both cats but didn't.

 

Been there at night, big cat one night coon hunting. Was a bad feeling, I didnt enjoy.. The other time was by hogs, busted a small one just at dark, most of the walk across the thicket there was a couple just at the edge of the lights. Cat was the worst thing ever.. And I live in bigfoot country...lol..

 

Red both times I was stalked was in broad daylight.I hunt alone and I know how to move and know when to stop and listen.Its one of those sences you either have or you don't.I know how to make something behind me stumble and make a couple extra steps and 2 things come about , I know he is there and I know about how close he is.Wound up letting both cats go , in the end it was a unfair contest becaise I had a gun and both cats when we made eye contact, both knew I had the advantage when we finally looked each other in the eye for the first time.Smart and confident animals that didn't deserve a bullet from me.

 

We call those Black Cats , Panthers.They got a scream that will cur most any human or animal. I was at a friends house one night and he was just tellin me how good his German Shepard and how well he watched over the property and it was getting close to midnight and a Panther screamed so loud I thought he was in the house with us lol.I look over and that big ole German Shepard was in his lap and shaking from head to toe and so was his master lol.I went out and shined for him and I never saw him.

 

We have mountain lions around here.I've always got my eyes peeled whenever Im in the woods....we've had runners and bikers get eaten by them,a lot of times you dont even see them coming

 

This one on the place aint black, but he's big,we've seen em a few times in woods & field. He screamed out one night pretty close, the old hound ignored it but the 2 young dogs came scootin back, by the time I tried to catch one the boy had his leashed up & heading north..lol..

 

You ever seen one of them Bigfoot Reddirt?...Im serious lol

 

Na.. They even had that tv show here for a week or so. They claimed to be tracking a route from east of my place, through my place & east...Even had one neighbor a few mles away tell em he watched em every evening like a lil "herd of deer" playing at the creek on edge of field.. Odd enough, the entire family took vacation that week cause they didnt get anything on film.. Now, all that said, I have seen things a time or two out late at night or up in mid day sun... Mind you it could be the tribal living & just a "story" told over & over until you "know it"...

 

Ive been up in the timberline on some fourteeners and have never seen anything,I also have a buddy that climbs all the time and he's never seen them...who knows lol

 

Lol I took a man fishing one day and he is a big man ,6ft8 over 300 lbs.I walk him in to a good spot on a creek ,and I left him there and moved up the creek to another spot.I wasn't fishing ,I was just looking for a quiet spot to catch some Zzzzs .Im finally relaxed enough to fall asleep and I hear some noise and then a lot of noise and it's heading right towards me and its somethin I can't make out.I pull my pistol and get squared off to the direction in which the sound is coming and I'm still confused about what it is lol.Well turns out to be this 6ft8 ,300 and somethin lb man runnin through the woods lmao.He said he saw a Panther ,man he fell down I don't know how many times ,torn flesh,bruises,left his fishin pole and it was his birthday present from his wife lol.Well I let on like he was just shit out of luck and he was distraught and I finally told him I had a pistol and we went back and got his pole.That was a confusing noise ,a big man running wide open through the woods out of fear was somethin I never heard lol.

 

You guys get a lot of panthers in your state Bama?

 

Had some folks swearing they were here.. I was spending 90% of my time bush.. Day & night working dogs. More time in the woods in 24 hours than most in a week.. Anyway I told em they was nuts, but they think any banging rock or snapping or banging sticks is ol squatch.. I told em thats what kept making my young dog tree on empties..lol.. Ol squatch teasing my dogs... So then I ask a elder,, well, what about when they die, what happens, do they just disappear? Why no, dont be silly,, The porcupines eat em.... Ummm,, ok, but we aint got any of them around...lol...
