I have always been partial to Sorrells` dogs but will feed any that are worth feeding. I dont get real caught up on bloodlines although they are important but I look more at the performance of the particular line. I have seen some dogs that were bred real good not worth feeding and on the other hand I have seen some scatter bred dogs really turn on...Thats my story and Im sticking to it.

I agree with Gator in that Lines do not dictate the outcome of the dog. That being said....we all have our favorites with mine being CH ART, Eli line. I also like CHINAMAN as long as there is no FRISCO ROM in the mix (I don't get turned on by cold dogs) and you can't say enough bout the CHAVIS JOCKO lines.

The only thing I know to be fact is that we are all going to agree to disagree with each other on these things until the end of times![IMG]

I am partial to the Chinaman blood, but I am not blind to game bulldogs of other lines. Pedigrees can look all fancy but there is no guarantee. Only a couple turn out. Better to look at the bulldog as an individual rather than at their peds. I also believe when breeding; breed game to game. Then on the flip side there are some cold dogs out there throwing the heat. As far as feed goes, I feed Diamond (green bag). When in a keep Diamond(black bag).

The Cowboy dog that I acquired is only 7 mos old, but I got the dog from a buddy of mine that seems to love this stuff. A little male he has sold me on these dogs, ability out the ying yang and good mouth to boot, and despite what many folks say about these dogs...game...now hopefully my pup will work out like that lol.

We keep Magnum, Bolio, Eli, Poncho, and most deffinitely Butcher boy blood!!! These dogs kick ass!!! Hard mouth... Nice ability! Deep Gameness! Specially Butcher Boy x Bolio x Eli/Bodreaux crosses! I have a 26pounder bitch of this cross that already is a 1x! And some hard mouthed Magnum blood off the "Local Boys" in New York!!! We also keep some Nigerino, Mountain Man's Bandit, and Jeep dogs that are deep game.

For me... I'll get a dog from proven parents... but still I would say, it's a BIG thing if there's a Foundation of bloodlines behind that great ass dog... Don't ya think?

    YIS....
