As an individual with a passport ,I have traveled abroad to get dogs from friends overseas. When the opportunity presented itself it was taken,not necessarily to acquire rare blood,but to acquire a proven line of dogs to infuse into our yard without sacrificing the traits that I like about my yard.
My view is that as for obtaining a solid family or line of dogs with the percentages I desire, obtaining such line is few & far between. By"a solid family or line" I mean the aunts & uncles,top & bottom are proven,sire & dam are proven bulldogs,even as far back as the siblings of the 3rd & 4th generations are proven Bulldogs in that high percentage litter.
Look at 8x Titere & Tango, are their litter mates proven from their litter? are the sibling to the parents proven Bulldogs and if so how many are out of how many in the litter? Are their grandparents from a high percentage litter?
See there are an overwhelming amount of yards based off "one hit wonders" from low percentage litters In The States and I just don't see how a low percentage litter bred to a subpar litter could ever make anything but below average litters of low percentages with maybe one or two Bulldogs out of a litter of 5 or more. IF we are going to Go back to the initial topic, which is an infected topic in it's own right, i think most of these discussions end up being a Dick messuring competion between people who doesn't have all the facts, "My dad's stronger than your dad"-kinda bullshit. How many here has seen Titere or Tango? IF you Go by How many people have something to say about their performance you would think they broadcasted their shows on national tv. And How many have seen the european dogs? Yeah, you' ve seen some. You've seen the one posted on the web for Everybody to see, fighting on Grass or in some guys dirty backyard. What kind of dogmen do you think post that shit, A-level?? My experience tells me otherwise. The people who HAVE seen both sides usually say more or less the same thing, most dog are bad! Really bad, then you get one or Two popping up that are great. To make assumptions on the level of an entire continent based on the aces is just bot gonna get you anywhere. Titere got dog of the decade, halfway through the decade and nobody complained, do you really think he is the US standard?

 

We're still around. If I go and remove shit then a bunch of people get up in arms a out it and start saying I'm editing posts, this, that and the other b.s So, I stopped deleting any of if. The only things I remove these days are names of people alive today that may have some kind of repruction if their real name is left on the board and deleting spam threads. Other than that, I just let people show everyone the fool they really are rather than remove it.

It's anonnying when it bleeds into all the other threads but I just do my best to stay as neutral as I can. About all I can do really. Otherwise I'd be spending all day everyday removing dumb shit. I don't got the time for all that. This is a voluntary job, I don't get paid to spend all day on here.

I don't exactly have a bar to judge myself as a moderator. I do what I can when I can and other times, I'll simply look away until it becomes a real problem. People love this school girl shit, just look at the top topics going on here in the last few weeks. They have more hits and comments than most of the other topics do right now. The thing that makes me allow it to continue is when people's feelings get hurt the damn real truth seems to always come out. No one is forcing anyone to read anything here. If it's a topic that don't suit your fancy then simply move on to another topic you wish to participate in. Or attempt to redirect the thread by contributing to its main topic. Either way, good luck. Like treez said, we get around to things at our own time, not anyone else's. Neither of us sits on the Internet 24/7. We got more important things to do.
