Hey lads just checking who has the best dialed in economic summer /winter maintenance feed for keeping working dogs lean and mean dog kennels over 7 dogs.

    Currently I use mostly
    Chicken drums
    Coprice cheap greyhound kibble
    Ferramo d sup added
And red meaty bones few times a week

Don't have to give up you keep secrets just wondering if anyones got anything I could improve on.

    Peace ✌ YZAT

I don't know about "mean".., as for lean your ingredient list looks good to me. If I was to nitpick, cheap greyhound kibble (or even expensive kibble) is pretty much trash for any type of diet in comparison to the natural ingredients in your list.
No secrets just enough nutrition and calories to sustain the dog until you are ready increase the workload and feed. My dogs are active and I'm always tinkering with feed plans. JMO

good question Yzat. if you feed every 24 hours, the dog may have enough time to detox between feedings…I think? Once a week - 10 days or so, I’ll stretch it out to 30 hours or so. I know a kennel owner who feeds raw chicken only nothing else 4 times per week. he has 15 and 16 year old dogs sill hanging on with this diet. Fasting is an effective health practice for humans too, but that is another discussion.

Crushed up eggshells are great for the dog's bones and teeth. Put a couple tablespoons in the food.

Wednesday : lean red meat, chicken necks, kibble and raw egg mixed in

Thursday : lean red meat, chicken frames

Friday : kibble, raw egg, boiled and blended mixed veg, lean red meat, olive oil

Saturday : ( cook day ) Fish, sardines in oil, eggs, veg, white rice, olive oil

Sunday : chicken necks, kibble, lean meat

each listed in order of majority
