(Pre-76) Knightmare, Was rub more of a concern during shows with high purses as apposed to a dog going out for his first show with a low purse, say $200?? I personally wouldn't see the point in rubbing for a cheap purse but, I've seen people do crazy things over a buck.

As for the roids, I wouldnt touch the stuff but I know more people who do use it, over those that don't use it. When ever you treat a human or animal, you have to compensate for every chemical present in the body. The more chemicals that a dog takes in pre-show, the more calculations a person has to make to save the animal post show, pending his injuries. So for me, a natural feed keep tends give the dog a better chance at healing after the hunt. As long as money is involved, there will always be those folks who look for the extra edge to get more money. I don't consider roids, sharp teeth, or sharp nails cheating,but I do think rub or any poison is cheating. Roids, and sharp teeth give a dog a little extra to work with but, you can only increase a dogs potential but so far, we can lift weights for 20 years but we will always hit a peak and go no further.

 

Use mortician soap, wood grain alcohol or moonshine and milk for the wash.
Put your second with the dog after the wash and into their corner and watch the handler and not the dog for him reaching for his hat, collar, pant cuffs, shit cuffs or heel of the shoe.
Look close to handlers clothes and not allow changing their cloths after the wash.
If you doubt you have the right to inspect the cloths and to taste the dog.
Nicotine Sulfate will taste like mosquito spray when sprayed around your mouth.
Also don't allow anything to be handed into the [] anytime before of after it starts, not even to drink.

Roids I have used to have a dog recover from injury but not in a Keep.

What is the juice that come out the dog after they get hot. I cant remember if it was trenn or dsmo and finaplex crushed up. any way it does couse the dog not to take hold. and ther is no milk or wash that helps this. This is why I do not push steroid use on dogs. people will use the cheap fina and trennbolone and for some reason it IS CHEATING. Any one rubbing should be blackballed. DMSO,FINAPLEX was used in OK and TX.a lot.

 

In humans DMSO had shown to be a poor route for Tren you can find recipes on line to convert the pellets into a injectable lq form, if that is your thing. Tren has is aslo know to cause scar tissue build in in the lungs causing "tren cough". User report very poor cardio while using tren ,not good for endurance sports. I wouldn't put a animal execpt a heifer on tren to many sides...and everyone I know on it says it makes em pretty short fused.

Say good bye to any type of aerobic condition when on Tren. I personally wouldn't use it on a dog for that fact alone.

 

Dont get your shorts in a wad!! the fact is tehy do no belong in the dogs. but peoplel will all wasys be cheap ant try to get the stick on some one. DSMO? Are you serious. DSMO won't come out of the dogs' coat during a show.
Man I've been hip to DSMO for over 25 years.
DSMO was first used by joggers for soreness.
They had to let dry because wet it was tattooing their legs. lmao
It was created for industrial use.
They used DSMO with antibiotics topically for joints in dogs for infection.

Kids out west used DSMO with snake venom to kill dogs when put into squirt guns.
Something has to be added to the DSMO to affect a dog when biting because DSMO on its own won't do it.

 

This is what I was thinking. DMSO has been around for awhile. I've never used it, but always thought it was used for soreness. From what I've been told, it's strong stuff.
