High twenties for males isnt so rare but low twenties and high teens is almost unheard of in this day and age,,,
the only male I seen that small was thought to have a dwarf sydrome issue...

his older brother cortez was gentle as baby lamb and had twenty twenty vision,,, lol...
Cortez was an awesomel looking and acting bulldog that was low thirty pounds,,, most his brothers were up towards high fourties if I recall right...
Alot of the females from that family seemed to be smaller,,, what w8 was yours???

I alos noticed the visegrip poncho dogs tend to run smaller...

that males ped you posted was the one I was responding to as the mid to high twenty pounders isnt as rare,,,

I dug up the pedigrees and the mother of both these dogs since there off a mother son breeding has Archie in the third. My pedigree shows Archie off of CH. Lee's Reno and Patricks Jeannie though not Mia.

The Reno dog seem to run a bit smaller also....

The other bitch you mentioned is bred nice also and that ofrn catalyst seemed to work in those breedings very welll...

 

Yes it did ... my avatar dog is pretty much bred the same just not double up on Roscoe ( Hixson's Raider )

 

Its back to dad ... she came in heat sooner than expected ... she's flagging but fighting it ... but hes getting rid of some old semen so we don't have to worry about that. LOL
