We might be putting something together. They will be basically Nutall, Gould, Riviotta. Gould's Spartacus H.O.F. Black Badgers Tombstone H.O.F. Kickapoo Spunky H.O.F. Riviotta's Zed, Goulds Scratch. And a little bit of bulldog in there aways back.

and what traits did the ARCHIE dog have that led you/them to breed him to a terrier???
was it size,,, and was this little male from that first cross???

an old timer that might have had something to do with the tug boat willie dog that ken allen and the a team had that set a match time record of over five hours,,, and he might have said he had something to do with the twelve time winner of the a teams robert t,,,
also said one of the best dog he seen was from one of these bulldog ex terrier breedings!!!

a side note is the out cross of bulldog and a well bred one at that should allow for more inbreeding for at least another generation to come,,,
as alot of bulldogs are bred far tighter with out an outcross,,, good luck with the breeding...

 

I knew the Henrietta Hurt female who was a sister to Mia.
I was told that Patterdales couldn't be bred like bulldogs because of the different breeds involved in the makeup.
But I've seen some bulldog tight breeding on them that turned out great.

 

The average size ... most are spannable for going underground. The average weight is 15 pounds. I haven't seen too many that weren't ready and willing hard dogs. We have one that will even launch himself into a tree ... I'm guessing 7 or 8 feet high to get at squirrels. I'm not sure why Archie was bred in there ... from what I know he does throw small dogs.

Yes I know ... ive had dogs for years ... Patterdales and Bulldogs ... the Patterdales I had before now went to Hammonds.

 

She is in heat now ... looks like were sticking her back to her dad ... she's fighting it so here we go ... lol
