March 14th and 75 degrees here in mid-Michigan, cant say i dont love it but what is going on with the weather.

 

It is going to be one hot summer! 2012

 

Good question! I'm convinced there is more going on then those that know are telling.

 

Yep winter in the south has been like spring lol I imagine it's going to heat up early this year That's the way it's looking even the north east hasnt had much snow crazy

Man it has been hot as balls this last few weeks, 85+ and we never even made it down to "freezing" at all.. God I feel this summer in Arizona is going to be literal Hell.. I mean last summer all of August was 110-115+ *sigh*

Although its going to drop down 20+ degrees this coming week for a day or two, so thats good!

 

There were a couple of days in Jan. that it was in the low 60's and ticks crawling. Its usually in the teens and everything frozen here. Bugs are probably gonna be bad cause it never got cold enough to kill any out.

 

Ick, I remember having to deal with that stuff when I live in AR. Nasty critters all around when it warms up, I cant imagine having a winter this warm, its going to be bad for sure!
Thank God the summer kills off pretty much everything out here, I forgot all about ticks and fleas and everything else that bites and makes you itch lol

pookie the heat out there is it dry heat? i never been in 115 degree weather. i have been in 95 degree whether with 90-100 percent humidity and that felt horrible lol. that place i was at 85-90 is the year round temp with a constant humidity of 85+. i couldn't imagine 115 type of weather. Arizona is a pretty state, but i bet everyone would move the hell out if they didnt have air conditioners in their homes lol.

 

Take a deep breath and enjoy it cause we'll have 2 feet of snow next week lmao; this is Michigan!

 

GTFOOH LOL shit you cant be serious. the weather is all types of f'd up this year. they say the world is tipping over on its axis some 30 degrees. IDK though. all i know is that i was expecting a crazy winter this year and it was the warmest rainiest ever.

Lol that "dry heat" crap :p trust me, dry or humid 115+ degrees is the most ridiculous shit ever, I dont even know why I live in this damn state lol and you seriously ALWAYS have to carry at least one gallon of water for you, and if your stupid enough to think about hiking or doing anything other than running from house to car, car to store/house than you need like 5+ gallons and even then you probably wont have enough, dont know how many times this year there will be stories of out of state people trying to hike our little mountains in the city thinking it will be easy and its "a dry heat, I will be fine!" and then they die, shit we already had two people die on the mountains and its only been 85!

And last years heat during August was retarded, thats the only word for it. We didnt even go outside and I made Bear pee in my bathtub, that is how hot it was. I felt like I was going to heat stroke getting down our enclosed stairs.

If you ever wonder what it feels like to come from your nice AC'd house/car to outside during the summer here, turn your oven on 400degrees and let it heat up, then open it and stick your face down in the opening as you pull the door down, that blast that hurts your skin and burns your eyes.. yea thats what it feels like, it is stupid thats how hot it is lol

I swear all the time I live in Arkansas was nothing, 95 degrees with 100% humidity was so much more bearable than this crap, and the other stupid thing, its not like its somewhat cooler the next day, it never cools down, ever lol not even in the winter, our winter is like everywhere elses spring/early summer..

Hell its normal for 12 at night to still be 100-105 outside, and now Phoenix is getting bad for the "heat island" effect, because we have so much asphalt and concrete it never cools down and it just makes it about 10-15 degrees hotter than it actually is because the ground never cooled off and it radiates back up, again STUPID lol

It gets so hot the asphalt melts. Like last summer I had to wake up before the sun even thought about coming up to exercise, and when I was walking Bear he would have to get up that early, because after 8:30-9am it was already to hot for his feet on the road. I dont know how I am going to keep him in shape this year, I will have to wake up at like 4-5am and run him, because I know its not going to cool down enough at all at night.
I wouldnt wish this heat on anyone, I wish I had enough money to get out of this state.

I will agree, Arizona is somewhat pretty. I think people should visit us during our "winter" and get out and hike the mountains (WITH LOTS OF WATER, because its "dry" and sucks your moisture out and most people are not prepared because they arent used to it from living in places with humidity) and go see the deserts and go up north and see the mountains and pine forest and stuff, after that RUN lol GTFO because its pointless in the summer, even experienced Arizonans dont do crap in the summer, maybe go to the lake, which sucks and is always full of drunk kids or hit up the salt river, which is also always full of drunk kids.

Now about the air conditioning, if your ac goes out in your home during the summer, you can die. Like seriously, it will kill you if you cannot get yourself to stay cool. Your house heats up so damn fast. The last time my ac went out it was 110 out and it killed everything in our house (fish, hamster, gerbil, rabbits, birds) but the cat!

Yep thats true, the axis is slanted way more than it was, and I personally think after reading a bunch of stuff that the poles are shifting, so thats screwing up where the cold places would normally be, which would explain the warmer than normal temps here and a few other places and the extremely abnormal freezing weather in parts of europe and such..
Also our planets climate is changing because, well thats what its done every few hundred years and its time for it to shift again.. which sucks because its to damn hot already..

 

it has been rather nice but very strange in indiana. and it makes me wonder are we going to get hit with one last nasty winter storm or a real hard core summer?

 

I absolutely agree with you. The heat is terrible. It's a good thing I have air conditioning at home and a whole carafe of Mojito. When I remember myself a year ago, I feel so bad. I used to be a very greedy person and never spent a lot of money. When I broke the air conditioner, I did not want to carry in the repair, as I wanted to save money as usual. Well, I decided to fix it myself, but I broke it instead. Here is my savings and left me sideways. Then I realized that I was too greedy and decided to give my air conditioner to the best air conditioning servicing. Since then, I've gotten rid of my greed.
