There are no serious dogmen now or at any other time matching into other breeds period. Did /has/does/could it happen from time to time . Yes, But not in the fastlane of the competitive sporting bulldog world and not by true to the bone top knotch real dogmen.Damn all that other B.S.

LOL RG i see where you are coming from we dont need to beat a dead horse by discussing how much we all hate the various 'apbt v.s ........' crap that pops up occasionally. Lee makes a good point about the high win totals on the old time bulldogs.

Ever since the pit bull has been a recognizable breed, and even before, they have breen matched against almost everything. Different breeds of dogs, monkeys, large cats, and even people.

What many of the new people don't realize or don't want to know is the majority of the old dog men didn't give as much thought to improving the breed as they they gave improving their wallet. They had to improve the breed to continue to win.

Years ago it was possible to match anything into a pit bull if you had the money. The reason many people don't know this is it doesn't usually take very long for the pit bull to win the money.

When it was said a dog was opened to the world at any weight that did not exclude any other breed. Most of the contracts did not state what dog would be matched. Most just gave a date, weight, and a place. If you wanted to bring a poodle that was alright as long as it made weight and you put up your forfet.

There is a whole lotta truth to this however These mixed breed matches were sideshows and nothing more. Deffinately not the norm.

Lee does make a good point. IMO Beating a dead horse is what Popper and others constantly do by bringing up all that apbt vs nonsence.

its called fastlane for a reason folks. why would anyone want to lose their money on some crap shot that does not even perform in the same class as an apbt. it was done before but like red said,"not by true to the bone top knotch real dogmen" so stop with all that white fang stuff cause the only ones using that were AMATEURS.

..... It is kind of like that Slasher dog. He was a good Dog. Don Maloney registered him wrong. He was really out of a Bat and Ribbon female from Bill Decodorvas off Charley Adkisson's yard and a Half English bull that Larry Warren got of the dogpound. That half English bulldog whipped a son to Eli Jr. that Bean had him. Plus he whipped several good pitbulls. Years ago my brother had a half pitbull and a half birddog for a watchdog. He owned a Tavern about a half mile from his house. He put that dog at the back door to keep people from breaking in. He had a good bred little pitbull bitch that got loose and went to that tavern and got bred to that half birddog. He took the pups down and gave them to Jim Williams which was a mistake. Jim Williams put Papers on them and sold them all over. A man by the name of Holliday got one of those female pups and when she got grown he bred her to a Loposay dog I sold him. Everyone of those pups were good. Danny Burton ended up with one called Gorilla that was a four time winner if I'm not mistaken. Just think that Gorilla was one eighth birddog. Charley Adkisson rolled a dog at him when he was young. Gorilla did real good but we couldn't make ourselves buy him when we found out where he came from and who his dam was.

This is the most likely pic of black jack. Tudor was not a big man but the man in the pic with the solid black dog is good size and so is the dog.
Most of the dogs down from black jack were brindle with a white ring neck and white chest. Black Jack Jr. wasn't likely a black dog neither.

black jack - 49lbs but some say 60lbs
black jack jr - around 80lbs

Tudor's Black Jack 49-pound-1960. There are many typikal's walk from masing2 dog champion, is running with not too show how the real power (rather bland), but have always seen the "Strength" / strength of the body with a steady gait, stocky, muscular and Macho. Black Jack is the type of dog Macho, and he always beat lawan2nya that have larger size of them. The owner to open the "Open Class" / free classes for potential opponent Jack Black (heavier dog regardless of the opponent will be accepted). In Black Jack pertandingan2nya always provide powerful corroboration.

was in different language.

What that ment was
"Open to the world of profesional pit bulldog fanciers"
Would Tudor have taken youre money and let Blackjack whop anything you brought "I dunno" maybe he would have to pocket a quick buck but I hardly doubt he was open to monkeys and whatnot lmao and any match into any cur breed aka any non pit dog was and will be nothing but a sideshow.
