Mauricio Rua vs Jon Jones championship fight. Urijah Faber vs Eddie Wineland Jim Miller vs Kamal Shalorus Nate Marquardt vs Dan Miller Mirko Cro Cop vs Brendan Schaub........who yall going with?

  2. mauricio will be the game test that i believe bones jones aint ready for even with his pertty wins. Urijah should win if he stays smart and doesnt get hot although eddie wineland has knockout power i see urijah winning, and mirko will win with his old school head kick knock out(let see if he tries to set him up for that), and those are my three favs, also something to look out for notice the gameness in kamal shalorus true bulldog and nate marquardt vs dan miller should be nothing special... just my .02 cents.:dogdrink:

Bones Jones is a physical freak. He will beat Shogun. He is too much for that entire division. The UFC has taken their time with him but in all honesty, he coulld have had the belt last year.

I see Shogun winning this, as their fighting style is similar, both are strikers, but shogun has in edge with his jujitsu!, damm wish UFC permitted soccer kicks to the head lol

jones physically is a freak for 205. 16 week keep & took no damage from bader last month. he has the ability to win off takedown, jab,ko,sub & finishes fights. rua ain't about to win off his jab or takedown. championship rounds rua has a better chance.15min with jones is too much for shogun.

Jones has never ko'd anyone and Shogun has never been ko'd. You may want to scratch that off your ways he can win this fight.

It's a tough call on this one I can see both sides of the arguement. I'm picking Shogun only because I've seen him perform under adversity. Where as we haven't seen Jones in there with any top guys. Baber was a top prospect but not a top guy. Still if Jones wins I think 205 is going to be his playground for years and of course will set up a fight with Anderson Silva which would be way better than a fight with GSP

I got Faber over Wineland. Faber is going to be too big and too good.

I will never pick Crocup to win a fight. That guy has sucked for looooooooooong time now. Which is too bad because it's going to hurt me to watch Shaub beat him.

I think I'll take Nate over Miller. Should be a good fight.

"Jones has never ko'd anyone" so Parker Porter KO (Punch), Carlos Eduardo KO (Punches) never happened ? TKO is technically a "knock out" so ko'ed will stay on the list lol.

Jones is very good. His strikes are stunning and crisp.Shogun has the experience and he's very tough. So I will take Shogun on this one.Faber,Nate, should win.

No your right Eduardo was a KO. I forgot about that match. I bow to you're ability to see Jones potentially KO'ing a man who hasn't never been KO'd even against fighters who hit hard by watching Jones knock out a terrible fighter who was exhausted in the third round. Something tells me you looked that one up more than you watched it. Cause that fight really isn't any indication Jones is going to start Koing guys.

As for Parker Porter that wasn't a knock out. That was TKO which unlike your definition and despite the name is actually a referee stoppage. That fight I do remember watching and I just looked it up myself. I have no idea why they have it listed as a KO. It wasn't.

lol i saved 10min of my life by using wiki. why else would a fef stop it if a fella wasn't cut or tap? you don't need to be asleep to be ko'ed ever watch boxing? "I bow to you're ability to see Jones potentially KO'ing a man" pick yourself up off rua's nuts. 84' reach says jones has the ability to ko anyone in 205. most of his fights were into wrestlers. rua will stand & i don't see him shooting in that much? shogun body has high miles he coming off surgery.

Shogun is much more experienced and will have the smarts to adapt to the reach. I think if Jones wants to stand with him he's gonna get KO'd. I like Jones but I dont think he's ready for Rua. Rua figured out how to do what no one else could when he beat Machida. And i think its safe to assume Lyoto is a superior striker the Jones.

  13. Looking forward to the ride up to NJ tomorrow, should be a great night of action. Be on the lookout for a guy with a 17" x 30" sign that says "TIME TO BREAK SOME BONES SHOGUN" with the Shogun logo on it and blood splatters. My Graphic Designer put it together, it's bad as shit and will hopefully be picked up by Production and make the PPV. That being said, it is obvious who I'm rooting for...I almost went with "JON JONES IS A JERK" for the sign but decided against it at the last minute. He's a great fighter but I'm not too fond of his demeanor, or that he takes pride in having been a snitch in school. I couldn't sit back and drink a beer with Jon Jones. Let's go Shogun! Aside from that, Urijah Faber SHOULD win but I would not be at all shocked if Eddie Wineland KO's him...Wineland is an animal and if Faber stands with him for too long he can make him pay. Miller should beat Shalarous on experience and well-roundedness, although Shalarous is pretty impressive and could pull an upset by out-wrestling and controlling Miller no doubt. Schaub should beat Cro Cop, put pressure on him and he seems to fold up these days. Then again, I'm one of the people who always hopes for one more head kick annihilation from Cro Cop, so I'll be rooting for him to win by KO, not betting on him though. Great undercard as well, should be top-to-bottom action. Enjoy the show, I know I will!

  14. By the way, all of these fights can go either way...which is the beauty of the sport. Nothing is certain other than that the canvas will have blood on it by the end of the night.

I'm pulling for Rua in this one but it will be a decent matchup.

  16. Should be an exciting fight if nothing else. Jones has the potential to blow out anybody at 205...but he has not yet proven how he reacts to things not going all his way in a fight. Hope Shogun puts him through the grinder and we see if he's for real or a front-runner. Great matchup though, as exciting as any fight that could be made right now.
