Doesn't matter if it's a bulldog, game dog, staffy, ambully, terrier type dogs all have the potential to be DA they can all turn on at any point. I have seen plenty of DA bullies. Let's not forget some of those bully foundations stem from game dogs.

 

Again, many of my friends have pit bull mixes, as we hate to see good dogs get put to sleep, so we rescue from time to time. we have seen that putting them in place has worked wonders. Been training pit bulls to get along with other dogs(who live with them) for over 9 years now, and never had a problem with them acting up again. and your right. never trust them not to fight. NEVER TRUST ANY DOG TO FIGHT. that means you should never leave your german shepheards or labs alone together... but if training consistent with dog whisper methods, the dogs will get along. i seen it for many years now. have you even gave ceasers methods a try? OBVIOUSLY NOT. i did and it worked. so whats your problem. so brain washed its astonishing at the ignorance on this forum.

 

He doesn't understand this breed. His techniques work with other dogs because yes they were originally pack animals. This breed was NOT bred to be with others animals and even mixes and bullies have that in their ancestry. It may come out, not always but i have seen a RE beat a Mayday dog. The papers and ancestry is nice but at the end of the day every dog is an individual and can have that killer instinct inside. If you try to make them non DA you are goin against what their instincts are tellin them and tryin to break their will. JMO

 

Id like to see you come and Ceaser Millan my dogs in the presence of a same sex dog.

 

look, i dont own or have experience with a game bred dogs.. just with pit bull mixes. so if you own a game bred, then it probably wont work with you..

 

You need to understand that even with other terrier type's or mixes they still have the potential for DA and that those methods are not intended to be used for the terrier umbrella of dogs. It may very well work with some but the majority of these dogs regardless of how they are bred it's not going to fly. If the dogs are DA it's best not to play superman .. Crate and Rotate that is a 100% PROVEN safe and effective method for these type's of dogs with DA issues. And that is the best advice anyone here could offer the OP

 

that jessie james guy had two petbulls came back next day to his show, pretty sure the female killed the male one, both raised to gether from young i believe too!

Thanks for all the advice. We have kept them apart ever since, and thats how its gona stay. We also are planing on getting multiple brake sticks to have on hand.

These idiots with their dog whisperer shit make me wanna throw up. The ONE TIME that show actually had the nerve to show things get out of hand with his "pack" told the real truth about him and his methods and abilities. People picking dogs up by the back legs and pulling like fucking idiots trying to get dogs apart. A whole group of dogs fighting at once. That turd show is an edit and show what they want masterpiece.

Keep the dogs separated like you said you were doing.

 

Now, go tell everyone else that thinks they want 2 same-sex Pit Bulls to live together to forget it.

Crate and rotate IS a pain to a lot of people. They need to visualize how it affects their day. People need to be told that if they don't have the space and time to properly contain more than one dog to forget about multiple dogs. But I find they first need to be told in detail what crate and rotate involves and to really visualize their routine throughout the day when they have dogs in crates.

And if crate and rotate means the dogs spend a significant part of their day confined in a crate, then it's wrong and should not be undertaken. Just get the one dog.

when you chose to have 3 pitbulls in your house u knew there was a big chance they wouldnt get along in the future. ofcourse you hoped u didnt have to, but should have been prepared. never take such a discision when u know u dont want to or can't handle that.
