two males fighting HELP!!!

A help my dogs are fighting thread and an anti vaccination thread off tho a great start!:rolleyes:

 

You should have a break stick keep them all over the house and learn how to use it properly much better than using your hand. And 2 crates in different parts of the house. Do not try to make them get along it's clear they don't next time you won't be so lucky. Crate and Rotate solves your problem. If it's an issue for you to keep them separated than you shouldn't own multiple pet bulls. This is just the nature of the breed they can turn on whenever they weren't lying when they said never trust em not to fight. It doesn't matter who started it or why it started it happened now you need to provide the ONLY solution to keep it from happening again. Good Luck to you

 

Try watching a few dog whisper episodes and practice some of his methods. you gotta be the leader and dont allow the dogs to fight.. simple as that....

 

Bwahhhhhhhhhh .... you have alot to learn. Only way tro keep 2 highly D.A. gambred bulldogs appart is by keeping them seperated at all times.Simple as that.

You really think 30 minutes of the dog whisper fixes DA in a breed who was bred to fight other animals from the beginning of time ??? We are talking about bulldogs here there is no magic fix to DA not in this breed. There is only one cure for DA with this breed and that is prevention. Either accept that or don't own this breed. There are many other suitable breed of dogs out there that you can take to dog parks or have around other dogs this breed is never going to be one of them. That is why these dogs make headlines all the time because of ignorant owner's who don't take the time to learn about the breed before they just up and own one because it seems like the trendy thing do at the moment. These dogs are NOT for everyone especially for those who cannot and will not accept them for what they were originally bred for GAMENESS!!!

I agree,the strength I'm sure is there if we just had tougher fingers,lol When teeth meet flesh,flesh looses.

I don't know how old your pup is but sounds like it's time to seperate.Either crate and rotate or what I'd personally suggest is to chain them up.

get off the internet and build two proper chain spots, as your

1) too weak to separate them ,
2) prety sure you said you dont have a break stick
3) buy some chain (2) 12' lenghts or longer if you got the space for it, build two houses, straw bed them,

Ive actually got Emo dogs, they cant fight for shit and if they even start to i just stay calm and talk down to them, make them feel less than me and they stop , go hide and then cry.

i think whit dogs.. staffs/mix/pits and even most molossers the time will come that the same sex will fight eachater... even if they where 10 years togheter. and let me tell you this.. even male and female that ar togheter for years can fight eachater and really for nothing... it can be the ring of the door.

1 dog loose in your house ok no problem.. more loose you always need to be carefull !!! even when the dogs seems to get along!!

I have 3 pit bull mixes and they used to fight but I screamed no and grabbed em by the neck and made the hissing sound. they know hows boss. just like brothers who fight with one another.


there is no hardwired gene in the OP's pit bull mix that is telling them that they have to fight and not back down from a challenge(game dog?)


with non game bred dogs , or pit bull mixes, it is very well possible. just gotta be consistent and just that your the leader and you make the calls.



Looks like i dont belong on this forum, but I will stick around for this thread to educate some of you on the wonders of ceaser millans techniques on NON GAME BRED ANIMALS SUCH AS ORIGINAL POSTERS.

 

LOL. we are not talking about bulldogs, we are talking about a "blue pit hippo" and a pit bull mix from the shelter. If you ever watched an episode on the dog whisper, you would see him dealing with pit bull mixes and "blue hippos' and see how aggressive they are at first, but learn to get along and deal with each other.


i used to train dogs up to the intermediate class at petsmart training when i was younger. now, where is your training experience? look, the original poster is not talking about "bulldogs" or "game bred"
