Trying to Move to Europe With My Pitbulls...

Hi Pit Bull Lovers, I am trying to move my dogs safely into Europe but I'm finding very confusing info... Can I import them safely into Luxembourg or elsewhere without submitting them to tests? They are rescues who get along with each other but not with most dogs/strangers. Any info would be much appreciated. Thanks!

 

all dogs entering EU countries must be health tested , carry the relevant health cert, be microchipped, etc...

apbt and pitbull "TYPES" are banned in some EU countries
a pitbull "TYPE" is determined by a visual guide and a set of measurments

check the laws of Luxenbourg concerning apbt's, amstaffs, and pitbull types before making arrangments to prepare the relevant health certs etc.. for your dogs

 

The Better Way is, get a VetPass for your dog where is written your dog is a Mix, and that depends on the Colour of your dog, if you have a red/rednose dog make a magyar viszla mix, if you have a buckskin or red dog with black mask and black nose make boerboel rhodesian ridgeback mix, if you have a brindle or black dog make boxer/labrador mix etc.

otherwise you need a health cert, microchipped with a eu conform transponder (they are not the same like us transponders) and all shots must be up to date.

 

you can import an apbt as apbt without any problems into europe, only not in Germany, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, UK.
Import is not forbidden in the most Countrys but you can have problems in some Countys of European Countrys.

The better way is import a mix
