Maybe Im old fashion but if I pay you to do something I expect it to be done correctly regardless of how big or small.

I agree 800.00 is a large amount of money to spend on anything let alone a piece of equipment that is constructed with particle board and duct tape. I mean you can charge whatever you want but you should always put pride in your craftsmanship and materials used. My concern would be a dog getting seriously injured on something made so poorly that is something any mill maker should take into consideration when constructing a piece of machinery like this. If you need to charge a little more to use materials that are safe than that's what you need to do. I know nothing about Triple J or his mills I am speaking strictly from what's been posted here.

Im not trying to be a drama queen and im def not trying to be cruel. Im trying my best to leave my opinions out and give a honest facts based on observations. For what I paid I did not expect Swiss bone bearings in every wheel or perfectly beveled oak slats but I did expect it to be done correctly. When I recieved my mill I was severely disappointed. Not only because of materials used but because of the way it was thrown together..as I stated the rods for the main wheels were 1/2" and the inside diameter of the main wheel bearing was 5/8" which would obviously cause the wheel to wobble..thats just sloppy. There is no excuse you can give me that would justify that decision. When I did recieve my mill I felt like I had been taken advantage of. On my end I sent a man 1K I worked and sacrificed time away from my family for. I trusted that in exchange for my 1K I would recieve 1K worth of quality in return. I do not feel like what I recieved was worth 1K. Regardless I made the choice to suck it up and write it off as a loss. I decided to just strip it down to the frame and rebuild it with higher quality parts. Once I started taking measurements of the frame I realized just how poor the quality really was because not one part of the frame is square. The running track was off by 1 1/2 from the front to rear. Not one angle was 90 or 180 degrees. Bad angles create friction, friction=resistance, resistance=equals a mill that turns very hard and can hurt your dog. Im not exaggerating when I say a good very hard push would get 1/2 to 3/4 of a turn. After taking my measurements my only real choice was to cut the frame up and rebuild it from the ground up. I didnt pay 1k for a parts kit I would have to rebuild. Now I understand this was built by hand. Im ok with that but is it really that hard to buy a square and take your time to do it right? If you are prepared to take willingly take a mans money you had better be prepared to stand behind your product, improve your product and listen to opinions. Its what makes a business successful. Like I said I do not necessarily have a problem with J as a man..I dont know him. In his defense he did offer to help me resell the mill. He never really followed through with that offer but I also did not put much effort into contacting him to see it through. After doing business with him the first time I saw the writing on the wall and made a choice to go a different route.

I agree. Bottom line is the corners that were cut make the mill unsafe and unusable. Im not going to risk the health of my animals regardless of how much I have invested.
