trash talk on camelot

Sorry to dissapoint but non of my dogs come down from Golden Bud or any Camelot PITS bred stock. but think what you want.

I'm familiar with the camelot line, both actually. Ok, what Mojo has stated has some truths. There are two camelot bloodlines, one pure and one crossed with dogue de bourdeaux etc. to get that size. The camelot bloodline that most of us know of is started by a man called Kenny Sonja and the guys dogs definitely cannot and will not 99 out of 100 times compete in the fast lane. Sorry to dissapoint you Mojo, but that is the truth. There are actually a few vids down in Mexico, one of them involved a guy that rolled his 90 lb. camelot dog down from Sonja's stock and he went up against a catchweight apbt weighing 68 lbs. The smaller dog won despite giving up 12 lbs. because the big dog was just too cumbersome and he curred out at 18 mins. Now as for the real deal camelot bloodline where Mojo is talking about being able to stand toe to toe with carver etc. Well that bloodline was started by Mr. Kenny Sonja's acquaintance and partner. That bloodline was the real deal and ran about 45-55 # typically. Unfortunately, the two had a falling out due to disagreements with the dogs. Sonja's partner and former friend, whom shall remain nameless, wanted to keep the dogs pure while Sonja envisioned a bully type of dog, because that is what sells. This led to a falling out and the development of two camelot bloodlines. Unfortunately Sonja's partner is no longer into dogs and the real deal camelot bloodline is all but gone, with the exceptions of a few breeders here and there, though you'd be hard pressed to get a dog from them since their yards are closed.

 

That isn't old camelot stuff, that is just camelot being outcrossed into other lines. The "old" camelot stuff is long gone and comprised of various OFRN strains. They ran 45-55 # and were nothing like these dogs of today.

The real deal camelot dogs were an amazing blood. The camelot dogs also came in different colors, like the OFRN blood. However, people began selectively breeding for the red color and then slowly, for looks.

 

The real camelot dogs were bred by the man behind CamII's slim shady< gr ch katrina,gr ch butterbean and so on .

 

Big red oxygen fed dogs who eat alot of dog food. The original dog's are who? Never paid any attention to them..

Indeed it is. There are quite a few 1xw and 2xw camelot dogs and a few ch.'s and gr.ch.'s. The original camelot dogs came in all sorts of colors and weren't bred for looks at all, like the camelot dogs of today.

I wouldn't consider camelot a game line it's a bully line but with the older camelot strain which is far gone there were supposed to be some box dog's that stem from the wilder/Hemphill stuff. Jack Boot's is one of the dog's I am aware of ...

 

Those are bullies, not bulldogs.

 

camelot's jazzmin is another. There are a few camelot dogs that have been in the box and have proven their merit. There are still some remnants of the old cam stuff left, but most are the bully stuff.
