Training

There are several places to train a puppy in my area. Some of them are PetSmart and Petco as well as other places.

What are the thoughts on training at a young age of 4 months for puppy 1 or 6 moths at a regular dog class? And what is the most you would pay for a 6-8 week class?

i think training at a place like that is bad idea way too much distraction for a puppy to learn anything. you can do all that shit at home but if you are clueless getting a book at the library is always a good start. jsut be firm and consistent.

 

While it will not change whether your dog becomes dog aggressive or not, it can be very helpful to attend a group class with other dogs, so he learns how to listen to you while around dogs and other distractions. There are better places to go than Petco, with more skilled trainers.
6-8 week classes around here are about $120, but I know the trainers are good.

 

petco trainers are not legit trainers....trust me....I KNOW! lol

I wasnt a trainer I sold dogfood & fish... lol... but the trainers they hire tend to be fresh outta highschool.

 

I heard Laced got fired for Conspiracy of organizing a massive beta fish fighting ring. Also itw as said he used oscars in his breeding program to make them more aggressive. LMAO!

well it was more than just selling food, i had a ton of regulars that have gone through hell with food allergies...& i really did try to help em with theyre issues. try selling quality dogfood to a bunch of broke motherfuckers...lol

 

This is the story Venom told me about when Laced first starting working at Petco. When laced worked at Petco he was dog less and green as grass, during work hours he would browse the internet and go to (this site) G.D. and after bout 6 months or so Laced was ready to give out great advice to his customers from all the info he has learned on this site, way to go laced we are all proud of you man LMAOROTF.
