put it this way we all know not everyone is going to like everyone elses dog! who cares everyone has there own opinions! regardless we are all here because we love the APBT and no im not saying all of the dogs on here are true apbts but in the medias eyes they are! so instead of pushing everyone away that doesnt have what you consider an apbt pull them closer in and try to educate them because in the end we will all be facing bsl together and the more we have on our side the better! like someone said it isnt about you me or any other joe blow on here it is about the dogs! so welcome everyone and try to teach them the old ways instead of yelling and griping that they have a B.S. or P.O.S dog!
not all gamedogs are the best, not all show dogs are the best! and after when we finally get over this my dogs better than your dog kindergarden B.S, maybe then we can all learn something from someone else! and thank you everyone who has taught me or replied to any of my threads cause out of each one a bashing or not i learned something!

 

Well I am glad I found this site.

Doesn't matter to me if I agree with every one, or like the way a dog looks. I still learn things on this site. I hate to sound "we are the worldish" but we need to come together. Because in the PUBLIC'S eyes they are all "PIT BULLS". They do not realize that there is a difference between Staffies, Am Staffs, APBT, curs, or bluffs. They are ALL PIT BULLS. So anything and everything affects us all. And why bash ppl on this site if you think they have a dog that you do not like (for what ever reason) at least they are on here trying to be better owners. We can all learn from each other. And also everyone has to start somewhere. Not everyone can be blessed to be 2nd, 3rd generation owners. At least the "pet bull" owners on here acknowledge and celebrate the history of this breed. And chose not to hide or ignore it.

Also I think we all have 1 thing in common the love for this breed.

But thank you all for everything I have learned and everyone that has been so helpful!

 

we should rename the site game-dogs-and-drama.com (just kidding Marty). Never mind fighting against BSL or anything like that, no what we need is more in-fighting within our community. Leaves ousiders with a good impression of us as well. Way to go folks.......

 

Yup. But, for some people, it is easier to pound their chests about whose dog is a cur than it is to actually DO something to SAVE this breed. And game bred or not, MY dogs ARE American Pit Bull Terriers and I will continue to call them as such, I don't care WHO it pisses off.

 

So sorry to be late in offering a reply to your note Shon. When I used the word "insure" ( look back at your reference ) I was using it as in.."to make sure of" maybe for your sake I should have made that more clear.
My comments about the other dog breeds...sure they were relevant, once again maybe I should have ( for your sake) made it more clear.

Dogfight.....I see it like this. It doesn't really matter, as I'm sure everyone understood what you were saying (just as the people who you have picked on in the past). The correct usage for your post would have simply been "ensure," but that holds little relevancy. But maybe (for your sake), the people you have insulted because of their spelling\grammar mistakes could have been more clear as well.

Actually they weren't relevant, because this a "pit bull" forum, and none of the breeds you mentioned are commonly known as "pit bulls."

Yes, I totally agree with that. There are as many do-nothing, so-called "game doggers" as there are animal extremists who have absolutely no idea what they're talking about.

but the problem is, the idiot who got the sword forged from from blood, sweat, and tears of another man will probably get the idea to have the sword casted and make more swords from the mold, instead of forging and pounding and bending the steel themselves. they won't do it the proper way that gets results time after time.

and then they want to give one to other people and tell them that they have a unique, one-of-a-kind sword. but, in fact, they have something that fits the mold, but would break under serious pressure.

the person who gets the casted/molded sword then in turn goes around thinking they have a superior item, when, unknown to them, it is sub-par and won't stand up to the test of time. and that idiot in turn goes and has it duplicated, gives on to his or her buddies, and the viscious cycle continues on and on.

and history will write itself, and what has worked will probably continue to work in the future if they forge their blades correctly. what didn't will fall by the way side.

the more and more i read about the history of this breed, it seems the same shit went on back in the 30s, 40s, on up to the present. it'll probably keep happening, and subpar products will continue to be prodcued for public consumption.

OOOOhhhh ooohhhh, and then Marty and Shon came along and started the Unique-one-of-a -kind sword.com web site and they helped the public understand what a one-of-a-kind sword was all about and to respect what went into making one, and to beware of the inferior swordsmanship out there. And all the smart swordsman shared their knowledge with the unknowing so we could all spread the knowledge....and THE GOOD GUYS win in the end.

yup, some of the same problems we face now were going on 100 years ago. The most pressing thing we face now that they didn't in the past is BSL........

Well, i just want to add to the already said, that i read this forum everyday and have learnt alot thanks to this site, Shon was very helpfull with me when we created the Spanish APBT site and all i can say are good words to him and Marty.

I dont post very often but im here =P , my english is not that good and sometimes i cant find the way to express myself and i HATE when people gets me wrong because this.

Great job to Marty and Shon, for making this the best site for "game","pet",dogs and animal lovers on the net and everyone that posts on the forum too!

 

You better not let him visit with me then. I have literally several hundred weapons. I bought yet another gun two days ago. 30 special revolver. A service weapon. I lost count years ago. Guns, rifles, shotguns, pistols, bows of all sorts, staves, knives, swords, midevil, from a few thousand years old till modern day. one of my favorite trading items. If I have something, chances are with the right weapon you can talk me out of it. just got to remember not to be silly with them as I always have one in my pocket. or in holster at my side.
