The worst 'setup' I've seen was this sad yard that had 3 emaciated & mangy pits with no houses or shade. I don't think the dogs had been fed in weeks. The house itself looked as if it needed to be condemned and the dogs' condition was no better. I've seen a wide variety of conditions while growing up in Baltimore. Shoot, I 1 out of 3 or 4 strays that I see are pit bull type dogs. It's sad to see. There are good setups, though. It just seems as if the bad is more noticeable, which is unfortunate.

what an absolute load of BOLLOCKS, fact; no man can look after 20/30 dogs on his own , even if there is a kennel person to help out, WORK IT OUT FOR YOURSELVES, CLEANING ; FEEDING ; WATERING, OH YEAH, AND GIVING THEM PLENTY OF EXERCISE/WORKOUTS, AND I ALLMOST FORGOT, THE TLC THAT THE DOGS DESEVRE, FUCK ,YOUR PLACE/BASEMENT/YARDS, must be rotten, and that cant say much for yourselves

I respectfully disagree. I had at one time approx. 60 dogs/puppys(about 40 adults and 20 pups). I had 10 acres of land in the country and I took care of them bymyself. The adults had tug ropes between chain set ups to play and exercise and they had a bunch of old car tires that they liked to beat up on:). It did get tiresome at times but I loved every minute of it! i had alot more time on my hands then I do now. I agree that most people take on way more dogs then they can resonably handle. You must know when to stop getting and breeding more.

theres a lady I know of who has 60 or more bullies in her doublewide and at least 30 outside!! it's just her and her husband, not a good situation at all!!! they are stacked in crates two high and you have just enough room to walk between them and she does'nt understand why they keep trying to chew through the plastic crates!!!!

I think someone can keep up to 60 dogs in a healthy, indoor environment. But any dog raised in close quarters with the owner seems to have the upper hand in my eyes.
What is your view on a APBT that does shit all day in and day out but works his ass off when its time for work?

  10. from a city stand point (ny) i can let it be known that good city dogmen have a better integrity with the dogs cull hard an test even harder. i have been thru more dogs then most of yall will ever have. my culls will make some of you cull your whole yard. yall country boys come up here an get yall ass handed to you time an time again. my record says it all for me im not talkin shit. i invite country boys with open arms most more worried about breeding to make rom then making rom thats why they sendin them up north because there aint no such thing as a easy pass up here patna. check the books an see who is dominatin these days go do some dogs an find out where the toughest competition at. this the fast lane if you cant keep up then quit like your mutts will

hey dont get it twisted most of what he said is true no matter if you like it or not. there is good comp everywhere but the city boys tend too keep nothing but the best due to the space. if you guys knew who fast lane is you would be asking him for advise. dude has reason too feel the way he does

that's bullshit. any dogman worth is salt has high standards when it comes to what he feeds. space has nothing to do with the quality of dogs you keep. if yall think folks in the deep south give two shits about making a list or recognition your dead wrong. i don't give a fuck who FASTLANE is or what he done up there. i would bet my last dollar his stock is from the deep south. fucking hypocrite talking shit about other dogmen but quick to rundown here & get dogs. " the loudest ones in the room is the weakest one in the room" FASTLANE PM me if you want to make a trip to the sunshine state. BB

I know someone very similar -- doesn't understand how in the world the dogs can chew through the BOTTOM of a crate and all the other wierd stuff they do because of the confinement. She thinks they are crazy! Well, duh!

I really don't care who you are or how many awards you have amongst your peers, if you have to keep dogs like this, it's not right FOR THE DOGS in my opinion. I don't care if they DO get out to be worked a couple of hours a day, if living in a crate -- indoors or out -- is where they essentially live in downtime, I am very sorry for those dogs. I have seen it. I have seen their eyes, I have seen the wierd behavior.

    If you do this, WHY?

WHY put dogs through this? Because YOU want to have dogs and work them? Why not make things better for yourself and get into a situation where it is better for the DOGS? What satisfaction does it give you to have to keep dogs like this? Because you "want" to raise dogs? Is your "want" THAT important, when it comes to dogs having to live like this?

I'd really like to know. Maybe you have the "right" to do just about anything to the dogs, but does that make it "right" FOR THE DOGS?

i find that wrong also thats to many dogs in that sutation,i got 7 apbts and 3 pups and 2 mixed not with apbt in 2 pins and 12 foot chains 2 inside on a 1/3 lot and i worrie about my yard size.that is inhumane and sounds like the puppy mills in the news.when and if the get raided it will be more pitbull drama.
