The greatest pit dog ever?

Who do you think, by experience or testimony etc., was the greatest pit dog ever. Seen something on another post about Mayfield's Pit General virtually eating other dogs. Is this true. All opinions and why?

 

Yea there is a story about Pit General literally eating a bitch that was in full blossom, didnt care about mounting her at all.

But also as was said; every dog has his day :-)

Any dog said to be the best pit dog ever is just an opinion and nothing else.

 

The Top Three in History were Tudor's Black Jack, Greenwood's Jimmy Boots, and Billy Sunday.

 

I believe the greatest pit is mines Evee and Poker. LOL

Why? Cuz he has "24 wins" and his pedigree says "

i never understood how that dog had 24 wins and no title of any sort that im aware of ????

 

They were more than likely "otc" wins. which is not taking any thing away from the animal to stop 27 different dogs. Boze had a similar history except he had one contracted win. The other twenty-something were off the chain so to speak. And they say he stopped them all also no matter the weight.

ooooh ok i hear ya, but no has ever questioned the crediblity of stopping 20+ dogs??? i know the colby's are honest dog breeders but thats a lot of stops.

 

It happens Tony. Some dogs are aces and can make even conditioned dogs look silly. They were and are rare. Noone questioned Boze's credibility. Also the SDJ was around when Boze was. The twenty-something wins were otc. He was matched only once into J.Hernandez I think. Ask one of them older guys like Gringo or Cajunpits. They know what I'm talkin about.

all opinions is what can be posted here..... but imo id like to think general would demolish anything across the line

 

Black Jack & Black Jack Jnr were amazing. Definitely agree with Bobby on this one.

 

unless you have personally seen every single pit dog to ever cross a scratch line then it is impossible to say who is the best and even if it were possible for someone to have seen ever dog to ever fight it would still be an opinion,


theres been so many great ones every time i narrow it down to a few in my head i think of 10 more so ill have to do some serious thinking and come back to this


and talking about Colby's Pincher i dont know how true this is but i always heard he was a roll dog and thats how he got so many stops anyway you have to respect anything with that many wins
