  1. Really. I think you lose by at least ten. I guess you don't need any three point shooters. I think Larry Legend would do a number on lebron as well.

Like Kobe. As far as Malone, the guy was lame. Primma Donna if you ask me.

  2. 2 Losers. Both would fail a drug test as well.

  3. Sad to see Ray Allen go. I guess the celts are going to be bad for a while. Hope Lebron breaks his neck..

Larry is slow and unathletic, thaat would be childs play for LeBron. And how are Pippen and Malone losers? Pippen has a fist full of rings and Malone would if not for Jordan. And yes I hate to see Ray go. He is a class act and the best at what he does.

  5. All I want Larry to do is assist and shoot bombs. He is quite capable of that. Please don't go there Lebron. Cannot stand that POS.

These star athletes really have no class. You would have thought Ray would have had some loyalty. My fault.

Its about winning and Bird would do either of those things against LeBron. To big, to strong and to fast. Do you remember when MJ dropped 63 on the celtics? Did you see Bird trying to defend him? It was way to easy. Jordan was the start of the new era of athletes. Bird can't keep up! He was a great talent but putting things in perspective he was great for his era. He is a less physically gifted Dirk in the grand scheme of things. So u can get all the good attitudes and ill take the victories

  7. Ok Dream. My team sucks. Yours is the best.

That's all I wanted to hear lol
I think this is the first thing we have disagreed on lol

  9. Not true. You, me and your misses agreed that time before. Lol. All kidding aside, how do you think your squad beats mine when we have 3 starters the same?

Those 2 players make the difference. Hakeem is much much better than moses malone and lebron would dominate bird. That's the difference. Malone dominated bc back then there weren't many players with that combination of power height and athletic ability. He would be a lesser version of Amare Stoudamire bc his injuries.

  11. Ok Dream. Your right. Lebron is God. THe second coming of MJ.LOL.

Not either of those but a lot better than Larry Bird and in a head to head match-up LeBron would destroy him.

  13. Here is the thing. Lebron is a one on one player. I don't care what you say about his assists. He is that. Bird (Hall of Famer) was a player that made his team win. He made everyone better. The way I look at the matchup, you don't need a Lebron type slasher with all those big bodies in the paint. You need a master passer. Lights out 3 point shooter. Not Lebron. As far as Moses. One of the best bounders to ever hop on the court. Love that pick.

  14. What does everyone think about there recent signing? How do you sign that POS for that? Explain? Please leave out how Howard is coming here in February?

MJ dropped 63 but the Celtics moved on..you were correct it is about winning...Did Bird ever poster anyone? Nope. Did he ever out run anyone base line to base line? Nope. But what he did is create spacing on the floor...He had to be guarded all over the court. He punished the double team with lights out passing. Is about winning. Bird did it all. Just like Magic. Just like Kareem. Kareem found the sky hook, but that would barely make the top ten on sportscenter, and he could hit free throws. like you said, it is about winning...US1

like i said before...if this were two or three years ago i would say it would be well worth it...but he is a big man coming off back surgery...a big man that has nothing to offer outside of 8ft from the basket...so his style of play requires he bang night in and night out....too much of a gamble for me...US1

True but you are talking about a young MJ. When MJ become a seasoned player NO ONE would beat him. In fact he beat Magic and Kareem with a MUCH lesser team to win his first. The Lakers had a loaded team and the Bulls had 2 stars and a bunch of role players. Bird was def a winner but he also one in an era of less talented and physically gifted players. I'm not knocking Bird, I just don't think you guys are taking the time periods and the level of play differences in consideration. LeBron is the most physically gifted player to ever step on the court. Jordan is the best combination of skill, physical ability and meantal toughness aka the best to ever do it. Bird isn't even in the running for either. We also have to keep in mind Bird led a team with a stacked roster to all the wins the same way Magic did. Those teams talent level versus the bulls who won an nba record 72 games were no comparison. Jordan was just that good.

i dislike the time periods anyway...with that argument Bill Russell would be a role player in comparison to Shag and D. Howard? Oscar Robertson would be a back up to CP3 or D. Williams? the greats perform in any era..they are the ones who did what they had to do to win...regardless....As the players get bigger, faster and stronger..aka Lebron...some will start putting him ahead of Jordan...it took Lebron a lot of years to be mentally tough..a lot longer than Jordan and a lot longer than Kobe...he laid down the last four years and with all that physicallity he should be a two or three time champ now...since jordan picked up four bums from the YMCA and won six titles lebron should have been able to do the same by now..he is bigger, faster and stronger...not knocking on Lebron...i just think he laid down when he could have been cementing his place as an all time great...i believe he will get there but he should be a lot further down the road....

LeBron hasn't surprised Jordan and I am more of a fan of 90's bball but I also can be realistic about the level of talent. Kobe never made it to Jordans level, not sure mentally anyone ever will. And like I said before I'm not a huge LeBron fan but I know he would destroy Larry Bird. That was my point. Me picking my fav players versus making a team who would win are 2 diff things. If I want to win no one physically can match up with LeBron so of course I'm gonna put him on the team. I have Jordan so his lack of mental toughness doesn't bother me.

  20. He is a beast. What I'm saying is with MJ, and Magic, both slashing type players. You don't need a third in the match up. It would be a determent to the team. You cannot have 3 players that all look to drive first. Also, MJ, and Magic were never pure shooters ala Reggie Miller, Ray Allen or Larry Bird. That is what is needed in our match up.

It looks like it is a similar matchup to what they are talking about on ESPN.
