The 2nd best bloodline?

Discussion in 'APBT Bloodlines' started by BootsOnTheGround, Feb 21, 2013.

  1. I know the whole question of what you consider the best blood line has been beaten to death. I aim this questions on the older more experienced members of this community, humbly from a 26 year old. Other than the blood line/s on your own yard. If you were to say you are particularly impressed with another line or combination of lines what would it be? And why?

Basically I'm trying to get an unbiased response from anyone that decides to contribute.

As long as the dog acts the way it should, than it does not matter for me. Cant really say who got first. But who is on second.

One mans Eli yard is better than another depends on who you got it from. There are watered down and exceptional versions of every line. Breed the dog not the line. What I'm saying is if you find an exceptional dog with all the qualities to get it done would you pass just cause it's not the line you are working with? Makes no sense.

  4. I'm sorry. Maybe I was too vague in my question. I just was looking to a little input on who you thought was running a yard you admired. I mean I get what you're saying, great dogs come from all over. I was looking to see outside of a certain degree of kennel/yard blindness or favoritism to your own yard, what if any other person is running a top notch yard in your, what lines or cross of lines he is working with and what qualities do you see in his yard you you consider consistent in general. I understand that you can grab decent dogs hand them over to some random guy and his yard is pretty much worthless a few years down the road.
