As long as u feed a good quality kibble and do some form of excersize u should be fine. Use the search button or scan through the forums under conditioning and health, it'll help u a lot.

Get a good feed and work 'em. (Walks, sprints, bicycling, flirt-pole, spring-pole, etc...) You really don't have to worry about all the other stuff you mentioned. A healthy bulldog is gonna have a nice coat and good skin. And remember that genetics play a large portion in how they are gonna look.

Red Cell is good stuff, not a steroid. Just vitamins and protein and such. They make it for livestock and dogs. We use it on our hunting dogs from time to time...works great.

don't use red cell unless you know what you are doing you can mess a dog up if you aren't careful, and you really don't need it unless you really work a dog hard or are getting ready to hunt
