TNT was mostly am staff to begin with. Once she finally came clean about it people started backing away from the line. She began adding game lines to her dogs after a big ruckus in one of the publications. Have no experience with the line just hope they are being sold as apbt/staff crosses.

I don't think ST tried to hide the fact that Blu Trouble was half staff. His pedigree gave it away:

    ONLINE PEDIGREES - Access Denied

(BTW, he is not a CH. that is a mistake on the ped)

But she did try to kind of dodge the issue by saying they were Tudor's Blackjack bred dogs instead of Ruffian dogs which is *technically* correct since the Ruffian stuff is the tightest Blackjack blood out there. :p

If anyone wants to heard the who story behind TNT, just use the search feature, it has been covered on this board at least twice that I know of. (I don't want to re-type it all. Whew!)

As for who has the best TNT blood, that is debatable. I really liked the stuff Inferno Knls of TN had, but they're out of dogs now. I really liked the Adamo dogs too, but I heard he's out as well. ST got busted so I don't know if she even has any dog any more & I heard her partner Gail Condra has passed away. But there are still several kennels that still run it, just Google TNT pit bulls & you'll find them & you'll have to make the decision for yourself. :)

i think adamo is mixing his tnt dogs with the chinaman dogs..... last time i looked

  18. I dont think anyone will argue the staff influence on the blood due to Blu Trouble's sire being Noble's Blaze of Glory. That dog was banned from UKC competition for being dog aggresive. Yes Gail Condra did pass away from what I understand. I live in TN and there are a number of breeders here that have some really good dogs. I would never say that they are as game as some of the blood that is on here but i think the fact that they still have good drive and they do have a little more predictable tempermants makes them a great dog. I think they possess some of the traits that alot of game doggers like and the structure that makes them look phenomenol. again its to each thier own and I respect everyone on here's opinion. This is the great thing about this breed as far as I'm concerned that there is such a diversity of people and dogs. This is what our newest addition's ped will look like. All opinions welcome because at the end of the day we like what we like......;)

*Some* TNT dogs can be very drivey - I had one male in '99 off Lucky To Be Here x Honeybear that was insane. I actually had to place him b/c I was living in a teeny-tiny rathole. Due to space I couldn't keep him inside & due to the neighborhood (terrible) if I placed him outside he'd be stolen. I hated to do it, b/c he was showing great promise, but I had to do it his safety as well as the safety of my other dogs. But then again I had his litter sister & she was 100% pure crap.

Most serious doggers will not take any dog that has TNT blood in it seriously. That is b/c of the tiff ST had with RB & the poor catch dogs ST caught against in her early rodeos as a result. RB was harassing her & saying blue dogs couldn't do anything so she set out to prove him wrong. Sadly in her vigor to do so, none of her early dogs (to include Trouble) went into anything serious. She went against anything that came up. This came right out of her mouth.

She went on to say said she deeply regretted it & said she would not make that mistake in the future, which it appears she did not. Some serious doggers saw some of her recent dogs catch (CH Grim for example) & were of the opinion he was the real deal.

But it's really a complicated issue with the TNT stuff & a long drawn out story which varies from whomever is telling. I am just telling what was told to me. But if you want a blue dog & can't get a pure gamebred blue one, like Titan Rook's Ghost or a blue off the Lacefield blood, go for the TNT stuff.

Yeah, the TNT blood is a pitter-staff cross, but unlike a lot of the blue hippos out there at least the TNT stuff is bred to correct standard & at least at a minimum had the drive checked. Gameness is questionable on any of the early stuff (i.e. Blu Trouble, Sheba, Blu Rowdy, Buckshot, etc.) but the newer stuff (CH. Grim on back) might have actually been game tested.

I have also noticed that before she got busted TNT was getting away from breeding tight Trouble dogs & was now crossing in more game blood (like Grim - half TNT, half Nigerino) & these crosses seem to be yielding better results.

But so much can be said. Just let me go or I'll be writing a novel! lol.

Here is a TNT dog I got for my husband as a Christmas present. My husband was in love with Trouble from the moment he saw him in '99. What I like is this dog is double bred Blue Bulldozer, who was a gritty catch dog & Judah himself is starting to show some drive. He's sort of bred like your dog pureline:

Be blessed & stay safe out there....

  20. Thanks ABK for all the great info you are right that ped is alot like the one I posted. We are gonna be doing wieght pull and things like that so the true gameness is not our paramount concern but the drive is. Again thank you and would love to see some pics of that dog you posted the ped on if at all possible.
