No, that is not the reason why I asked you that, but since you didn't deny it ,you are most likely a Euro LOL.

Now that answer really intrigues me , why do YOU believe that steroids are tainting our breed hmm?

This is a good example of why people should not speak on things they know nothing about.

even if you used it for recovery, could your dog have recuperated with that extra work it was given on it's own? you don't know if the dog never could have achieved those results naturally. the side effects will always be seen in the long run.

and steroids are admitting your dog isn't good enough as is.

i don't agree with steroids so why would i discuss on forum how to destroy the all hard work that was put into the breed. now someone is going to see that dog and the titles and think it will produce or perform like that. but no....you will have to buy steroids to achieve those results. now you have bred a dog that the won due to abnormal hormone levels. hormone levels play a key role in strength, aggression, and sustained endurance. those are key aspects of your dogs personality. steroids put an overload on the cells. the cells weren't meant to pump out that many proteins. the harder the cell works the shorter the cell's life will be.

each cell division will shorten the telomere. this isn't even complicated.

Hard work? Then you'd never know what the dog can do naturally. If a dog needs conditioning isn't that the same as not having faith in it in its natural state?

Obviously this statement is as ridiculous as the one one made regarding steroids using the same logic.

You don't know what you are writing about. You're digging yourself in a hole.

more proteins won't force the cell to mature and enter mitosis? each cell division the telomere gets shorter. once the telomeres are a certain length apoptosis sets in.

not conditioning it is ruining its natural state. letting it sit around will make it unhealthy. conditioning is the dog's effort alone. throw steroids in and it is more than just the dog.

dogs run treadmills naturally? nothing about these dogs is natural. have you ever used steroids on an animal or are you just speculating based on what you imagine with no experience on the matter?
