  1. Buk, You need to lighten up a bit.

I did not at any point call you names, ridicule you or try to put you down, so your ranting is rather uncalled for.

I can to some extent understand it if you cannot get your point across due to English not being your native language and I can see how it would be hard to get your point across when you do not know how to express yourself correctly, but ignorance is no excuse for being rude.

As it becomes evident that you are incapable of carrying a conversation or engage in a friendly debate I reckon there is no one to blame other than yourself for coming across as ignorant.

By the way, Ontherocks did not provide any proof to back up your past statements, which was:

"The working staffs of a few years back were bred closely to the apbts anyway and most of the old game bred staffs had apbt in them.

Since you failed to comprehend what Ontherock was actually replying to, please have a look at what he quoted.
Where in Ontherock's posts is he making any references to support your claim?

    He doesn't!

Let me remind you, your post, which caught everybody's attention was stating that the working staffs of a few years back were bred closely to the apbt's and most of the old game bred staffs had apbt in them, which is completely different than what Ontherocks was talking about as his post is in regards to the possibility of some dogs in the 40's having APBT blood in them. Unless you can provide any evidence of that dog being in the genepool of the irish dogs then it is irrelevant to the topic as this would be at best only a hypothetical suggestion.

"a good amount did thats a fact that a good amount did have apbt,if you look at some of these games staffs ped as you go back you can see apbt in there"

"ok,im not on about dogs like physco stormer etc.im on about dogs before them or even during those times."

Since you have not been able to come up with any pedigrees or even something as simple as names of gamebred staffords that carries APBT blood it gives support to the belief of you not having any information to support your claim and that you are indeed what you comes across as.

The best thing would not be to close this thread, but for you to think before you post as you clearly shows a lack of comprehension skills.

It would be an easy way out for you to have this thread locked instead of admitting that you made a rather dumb statement and that you don't have a shred of evidence to back up your claim of "Most gamebred Staffords has APBT blood in them".

Now, before you reply with another rude comment, may I suggest you put away your dog fighting goggles and at least try to comprehend what has been said?

i did say this but i ment back in the old days not recent times like now.i cant find the information where i can back this up but like i said a guy said he read something similar to me or he might of seen the same thing,i cannot remember where i read this if i did i would gladly post it.as for showing some peds to back this up, to i have searched and oviously todays dogs would not have drops of apbt in them, they are well left behind and maybe so far back it does not matter or make a difference any way,but wat i say is true.oviously to they are about but maybe the peds are not posted or no one want to show how their dogs are bred.to be honest a friend has an apbt x staff and i know this dog is a good dog but she is not registered.and as for me ranting,i dont blame myself because if i started to belittle you i would expect the same thing, and i speak to people how i would like to be spoken to as should you and everyone.if you want to carry on this argument which i cant be bothered for and as you say,i want to take the easy way out, give me your number and we can discuss this over a short phone call maybe i could then explain myself better and just leave it at that

why would i have screws loose in my head? a staf will not stop! thats a fact. they will take on anything and they will kill a dog....what? im not into being a keyboard fighter so no drama but they are nutz. i own 3 apbts a.d.b.a peds 4th gen tags, they r very stable and but yeah from the past i say they would get it over a staf maybe but the stafs are just bad i had owened them in my life and they were trouble 1 killed a mates malamute and 1 bit my wife while it was mauling her kitten. straight up the vets told us they even hate em and have constant problems with them.

Good post, probably out of 100 stafford x apbt puppies maybe less than 10 might be worth keeping.Ive seen some brilliant examples of the first cross but more dirt.I have a pitbull x plummer myself that is as good a digging dog as there is in these two islands, none of the rest of her litter made the grade or havnt so far(well not to my standard).Even if i repeated the breeding that made her i mightnt get one as good as her again.(hypothetical anyway as both her parents are r.i.p)

I read about that pitbull from the 40s "scrum half " on the hunting life forum-supposedly there are pictures of him and his offspring in existence.I doubt theres any paper trail leading back to him and anybody that would know would be dead/senile.I cant remember all of the post -ill look it up for ye.

THE OTHER TWO , A DOG AND A BITCH WERE ALSO BRED FROM MANY TIMES AND ENTERED THE GENE POOL OF THE STAFFORD ......
