I live in central NC and there is a guy called Mcgee with a big billboard ,let's say 10'x12' that say's Mcgee's pitbull's ,APBT's, AMstaff's, right on a busy highway not to far away.
Anyway, in the lower part of the billboard in big letter where he can change the letters for announcement it say's- WILL TRADE FOR ANYTHING!
and that is all it say's other than his above sign. As I know of local hearsay he is breeding mix-bred dogs to the max!
Let's start with his APBT/ American bulldog mixes and then his APBT/english Bulldog mixes
I have seen his supposed registered fullblooded APBT with there long coats and frayed tail hair like a shepard, and I'm really getting ill about the whole thing! He's registering mutts and you know as well as myself that someone will breed there APBT to one of these and so on! It's just killing me!
I have his phone number but really don't know how to approach calling him and calling him out on his BS!
I'm a pretty easy going guy but this has gone on for a while!
I could let it go and file it as ignorancie, but I don't think I can do this as I am a stickler for morals
All this guy is doing is damaging the breed and the integrity of it!

 

Gets me going too just hearing it. It's people like that whorring our dogs that are the exact reason our breed is in the trouble it's in. I know what I would do but the thing is, none of it would be "legal".

I have a similar situation that gets me going also. I live in the boro of Queens, NY around my neighborhood their is this family specifically the man that owns a amstaff male and apbt female. he mix breeds them and sells the pups in the community for $100. I think he does this to supplement his income because he breeds the sh!t out of his bitch, as soon as she drops pups he breeds her again. and the neighborhood, man, everywhere i look kids walking these mutts around with huge chains and harness and the offspring is all over the place. everyone has a dog from him and its sicknin. I was talking to this kid around my way about two weeks ago and he tells me that the bitch cant have pups anymore, so the guy is giving her away and looking for another female.

I hear ya Mr. Benedict, I want to do something but really dont know what I can. i run into these punks regularly while walking my apbt and i cant tell you how many arguements I've gotten into trying to tell them they own currs and that these 85lbs "pits" are retarded. oh well ingorance is bliss, i guess.

I saw some idiot in a pick-up today with PITT BULL PUPPIES FOR SALE written on his back window in shoe polish.

 

see he whited out the Mastiff part. So who knows what all he has mixed into his prized mutts. Actually I am friggen amazed that any one would be retarded enough to put that sign up. Hey maybe you should make a sticker to put over where the Mastiff part was that says Matches. Now that would be funny.

I had to post this! This sign has been up for about 6 years and he has had the WILL TRADE FOR ANYTHING! on it for about 2.5 years now!
The sign say's it all! all three dog's are bred the way the sign reads I guess!
He had all three different type of dogs and now it's all mutts and he sells these for $500 with adba papers!
I go to many ,many peoples homes in my business and I have seen what he calls his APBT, by what he has sold these unknowledgeable people!
he sells to locals in the area ,They say proudly it's a Mcgee pitbull{I say mutt} ,usually they bring it up in conversation and ask me if I know him,
Sad thing is, that I don't know him and I'm glad I don't !
I just walk by the customer's mutt and smirk!!
What a shame!!!
I might go by there in person and ask to see some peds like I'm interested and then call him out in person!
calling him out on mutt stock might make him knock his crap off!
I wish ADBA cared and would follow up on these people! Let me know what ya'll think would be a good way to deal with this turd!

they might care if you complain ......however, all they can do is count on people giving them accurate info..they dont have people to look at your dogs and litter when you are registering them ....its very very easy to falsify two , three bitches an have your self three litters a year of mutts and still have papers on them.. sad but true.... thats the way it is... gotta really research your pup or adult you intend to buy.. i got very lucky when i came into mine.. they had great blood and great temperments.. hoping they settle down soon so i can have a little more time for me.. one under two and three under a year.. i feel like i got babies in diapers right now.... oh well something to look forward to
