sadly, close to a week ago a pivotal figure in the music industry was brutally gunned down during an attempted car jacking. Lucky Dube was a rock of solidity in South Africa which over the years has seen woes after woes befall it's country. Lucky Dube was a reggae artist. for a man that did nothing but preach unity and peacefulness to be gunned down so coldly and with such disregard for life is reprehensible. i suppose the fact that i'm a big fan has had me really giving this some serious thought. please pray for this man's family as i'm sure they would for you if it was the other way around. i'm sure a lot of people won't know who this man is, but try to think of how you would feel. times try our faith, but we can't give in. the idea of one human family is something we should all embrace, even if you aren't a fan of reggae. this directly relates to the battle we face every day with our dogs and the lack of understanding about them. the more we fight amongst ourselves, the harder it's going to be to win the final battle. God Bless. :)

So true. Unfortunately, this type of thing has been going on for generations. Good examples to think of are John Lennon, Marvin Gaye, and more recently, Dimebag Darrell.

I can see where the comparison between our dogs and these people are made. The APBT has done nothing to mankind but give love and devotion. In return , they have been beaten, starved, neglected, dropped off, bred heat after heat, and brutally murdered. What for? I don't know.

My heart goes out to anyone who has had to go through unneccessary heartaches such as this.

ditto for me... seems so senseless....:( and odd that you mentioned J.Lennon~his death struck me as SO profoundly sad and affects me still, to this day...
